Creo que es la segunda ve que se me pide reseña. No recuerdo lo que anoté entonces, pero en primer lugar, el idioma. Deberían comunicarse en español. Sobre el programa, que se pierdan datos y no se puedan recuperar es bastante desagradable. Espero que hayan tomado nota para otras ocasiones.

Nosotros contestamos en Inglés o Español dependiendo del idioma en el cual se nos escribe. Y no, no se pueden perder datos. iCash crea 16 copias de seguridad rotativas, es imposible perder datos. Además sus datos se guardan en documentos como Excel o Word, también es una buena idea hacer sus propias copia de seguridad.

I friendly respond to questions about servers (Free, SMTP2GO, Authsmtp, etc) when you should ask them directly. You also had an issue with SPF at free, again, I gave you some information but it would be better to ask the server directly. I give support of Maxprog products like MaxBulk Mailer. I can't give support for all those services because I have absolutely no relations with them. I am just trying to help. The best for us would be not to respond when the question is not about any of our products.

Obligado a adquirir otra licencia ...
Hasta ahora todo bien, incluso estaba la opción de desmarcar una casilla para que no apareciera siempre que abres el programa un aviso de actualización, pero con el último sistema operativo de Big Sur en MacOs mi licencia anterior no funciona y me obliga a adquirir otra licencia, así que mal, voy a probar con otro software, con Automailer, a ver que tal, a ver si no hay tantas actualizaciones y el programa funciona "full" desde el principio ...
P.D. No tengo en absoluto mentalidad de todo-gratis, como indica el desarrollador en su respuesta, de hecho realizo numerosas donaciones a programas que adquiero "gratis" y creo firmemente en el principio de compensación. De todos modos, no creo que sea una buena política de venta el ponerse a la defensiva, creo que sería mejor un "sentimos que nuestro software no le haya satisfecho y agradecemos sus comentarios para seguir mejorando", además, decir que me puse en contacto con el desarrollador para ver si era posible tener acceso a algún descuento para adquirir una nueva licencia, ya que la anterior era inservible para el nuevo SO de Mac Big Sur de 64 bits, cosa que rechazaron. Gracias de todos modos por vuestro trabajo, tal vez más adelante vuelva a adquirir una nueva licencia, ahora deseaba probar con otra alternativa.

Muchas gracias. En cuanto a la notificación que le aparece, se puede desactivar desde las preferencias del programa, primer panel, abajo del todo.
Sobre su otro comentario, mantener una aplicación a través de los años y sistemas operativos es costoso. Yo vendo planes de actualizaciones muy baratos que se pueden comprar en cualquier momento, lo veo muy flexible y barato para el usuario y nosotros como empresa podemos sobrevivir.
Lo que si nos hace mucho daño es su cualificación pero aqui no puedo hacer nada ya que se encuentra al otro lado y desconoce los gastos y el trabajo detrás de una aplicación. Esa es la mentalidad del todo-gratis a costa de la calidad y supervivencia del desarrollador a largo plazo.

Mail Verifier stops frequently, you have to restart from time to time. Older versions did not have this issue.

Nowadays it is a good idea to test small/medium lists and to stop and resume the process from time to time. It is explained here post.maxprog.com/?id=470 In the past it was easier to test lists indeed.

You are using the Office365 server. The settings for that server is available here https://www.maxprog.com/site/support/us/maxbulkmailer/how-to-send-bulk-email-with-office365.php As the page says you need to create an App password, it is explained here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/user-help/multi-factor-authentication-end-user-app-passwords I already responded to you with this info last week, I though you fixed your issue.

MBM ok, mlm and support: the opposite
If you want to use MBM with mlm, a PHP script to manage subsriptions on your Website and synchronize them with MBM, at least find and download the standalone version and fix all errors by yourself, as the script bundled with the mac download has not been updated to the fixed version and contains a flaw which does prevent it from using SMTP. Version 3.2.0 contains a typo. Although I had to find the error by myself and reported it 2 weeks ago, the mac download as of today has not been updated and support didn't even react verbally on that report. The standalone version 3.2.1 states it to be fixed since 2019-11-29, which as of today is more than six months ago.
Test mlm thoroughly before buying MBM, as support comes in the form of not reading messages, "mlm is a free script", "I don't know" and "why should I answer, if I don't know?" and that's about the end of it. No questions more than asking for screenshots, no info about system requirements. Have a look at the style of support in the forums for it and you'll see what I mean.
But as if this weren't enough, add a hint on the website to set register_globals to "on" in order to circumvent problems with the script, which in terms of security has been known as irresponsible for years. The script contains undeclared variables.
Knowing all of the above beforehand would have prevented 2 people spending several hours trying to find and fix errors and getting useful or even just interested, friendly and timely answers from support.
2 points, because of the easy refund and because MBM in itself seems to work good as a standalone solution. Its interface could be a bit less 2002, though.
I hope I could prevent my emotions from influencing this report and it is of help for others in search of a toolset for mailing list management.

UPDATE 2 weeks after my initial review:
Concerning the reply: qed (= not addressing any problems mentioned in the review).
The Mac software package still has not been updated with mlm 3.2.1. I just cannot understand why a developer does not care about delivering software with known and already fixed bugs frustrating his potential customers. I can come up with many good and bad explanations for such behaviour. MBM is a useful software, just be warned that if you need to integrate subscriber management on your website and/or need to use SMTP for sending mails, you're on your own. My advice is: get the fixed standalone download of mlm and check it thoroughly. Do not set REGISTER_GLOBALS to ON, as is suggested in the FAQ.
UPDATE 3
The point is that I have neither been bombarded with questions (but with unrelated tutorial videos) nor have I received a reply on the mail with the screenshots until I asked for it some days later. Then the answer was the question, why you should answer at all, if you didn't have any idea.
Sorry, but there's been more than one strange moments in our communication. Not a single one of your messages addressed the questions asked or provided any helpful hints, e.g. about system requirements or that there already is a fixed version of the script or whatever.
Enough with that. Have a nice day and happy clients from now on.

Sorry if MLM did not work for you. And sorry for the typo, I found it last month actually, a wrong PEAR variable assignment.

It will be part of MaxBulk Mailer 8.7.3 when released, that will be soon. I usually update both at the same time but MaxBulk Mailer new version is late, the version history (below) already reflects the MLM update at the bottom.
I fixed the PEAR typo and a problem that causes downloading stats from the MaxBulk Mailer statistics window to fail. This is a nasty problem I had great difficulties to fix and it looks like it comes from more strict versions of the PHP interpreters.

Believe me, I work really hard on that product and when you report a problem and I don't know where it comes from I have to bombard you with questions. I know you did not like it and filled like I was unhelpful. I also asked you not to waste your time writing that much but to answer my questions with short answers and screenshots.
