Uncaring and unprofessional
We had been using Maxim for ABA for almost a year. We were explicitly clear on the services that my son needed and told them that it was the only way he could remain in his school. They said no problem, that’s what we do. And they did, for almost a year. Two months away from my son graduating from his school they abruptly ended the required service without notice, leaving my son’s enrollment in jeopardy. They hadn’t informed the school or the teachers or even their own RBT’s until last minute leaving everyone scrambling and not knowing what to do. Because of that when I picked up my child from school he had an injury. Turnover was a major problem in the time we were with them, communication was awful despite having a portal. Maxim Healthcare does not care about their own employees, they definitely do not care about the families that trust them with their children.
