This business is a scam. Bought two shirts and they were shipped wrong size. Communicated my email to get returned and got a response that they would get back to me. Haven’t heard a word in over 9 months.

SCAM FRAUD BUYER BEWARE!! Glossy website, offers of 70% discounts, The products look good, they welcome you in. Is too good to be true? YES, of course it is. Look at their instagram feed, Maui Tide Aparrel, it is visually strong, branding and product placement, shorts, shirts, watches, sunglasses, interspersed with many images of surfers, sun, sand, sea and surf, surf vans etc. However there is actually an image of Nick Nolte ( Down and Out in Beverly Hills), he was a famous Hollywood actor of the eighties and nineties and he appears to be wearing one of their Surf shirts. Have a really good look, he actually looks "out of it" but even worse the shirt looks terrible on him, and the picture is all grainy and out of focus! Not at all in keeping with the other images. Where did they get this? Anyway it demonstrates the power of a slick website vs reality. If you go to their actual website Maui Tide, you can read about who they are, their mission, see all the products, ordering is straight forward. You can look around and read about how they want to get back to the history, the beginnings of surfing, by providing natural fabrics and genuine apparel, pushing and selling the surf lifestyle. Reality is a factory in China churning out crap. I am not exaggerating. No one will wear this shirt. There is a way to get your money back though..... I have today disputed the transaction with my bank as under Chargeback processes (UK). Once paperwork and evidence is returned and accepted you have 120 days from date of delivery. I will be refunded immediately and then this so called company will have to return my funds to their merchant (Bank or Credit Card company). See Martin Lewis moneysavingexpert for more information on how this works. my bank, a very, very large Global operator are taking this complaint seriously and will consider a full fraud investigation if there is evidence that this isn't a simple mistake or a one off. Your goods did eventually arrive, but not as promised via your Website. You are supplying defective, inferior quality goods with incorrect sizing and then failing to provide any means of returning them, or even replying to an e-mail requesting return and refund instructions. See previous e mail, to which I received no response. Thursday, July 18, 2019, 11:41 am Received the shirt today, it is incorrect size, you sent XL, I ordered L based on your size guide. The quality is poor, the fabric is so thin, and no reinforcement in the collar, shoulders or button holes. The fabric is fraying and stitching is coming loose around the button holes. The cut of the shirt is all wrong, even though XL it is narrow across the chest, very loose around shoulders, tight on arms and way too baggy around the waist. Please provide return and refund instructions, I'm very sorry but I do not want a replacement, the quality and fit are not acceptable.

I ordered a swimsuit that looked great on the website. What arrived was 3 sizes larger than I ordered and barely resembled the picture on the website. When I emailed them to return, they told me they’d happily send a credit towards another purchase. I am a sucker, so I said yes and ordered a pair of sunglasses which were another $60. That was 6 1/2 weeks ago and they still have not arrived. And their horrible customer service doesn’t even respond to my emails anymore. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM!!!!

Ordered a 3x and got a 5x. The 5x is equal to a 2x (maybe). Made and shipped from China. Quality is non existent. Unless you feel like feeding this scam, do not order anything from them. There are no refunds to be found.

A month later and my order has never arrived, they have not refunded me for it and their email responses provide absolutely no useful information. No idea if it's a scam or just horrible service, just do yourself a favour and avoid it completely.

Ordered shirt 2 sizes bigger than I normally wear and still too small. Customer service sucks and will not give a refund.

The place is a scam. I ordered 2 shirts 3 weeks before i was supposed to leave for vacation and they never showed up. Customer support refuses to offer a refund and doesn't allow for returns. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

RUN. DO NOT WALK, the other way! If I could, I would give this ‘company’ no stars. I ordered three items. None of them are the sizes, I ordered. Two Hawaiian shirts are not the colors advertised, and one of them is not the same pattern I ordered. All of them are ridiculously poor quality, considering the order cost 100 dollars... Had I just googled the ‘company’ first, I would have seen that they’re a sham, and that they’ve got a GMAIL AS A CONTACT MAIL!!! SMH Next time, I’ll trust-pilot the ‘company’ BEFORE purchasing... 😒
