Avoid this company
Avoid this company! After using their services for around a year, I ended up with approximately £650 in credit on my account due to overpayments. When I decided not to continue with their services and requested my money back, they refused. Instead, I was told I would have to renew my contract and could only use 50% of my existing credit, with the other 50% effectively being kept. In my opinion, this is designed to lock customers into continuing with the service rather than allowing them access to money that already belongs to them. As soon as I started asking for my credit to be returned, communication changed completely. Social media posting stopped, and Nigel Smith stopped replying. This was not the first time I had experienced this. Six months earlier, despite already having credit on my account, I ended up paying for another period because I encountered the same issues. I have retained all invoices, payment records and correspondence documenting my experience. I also found it very strange that they repeatedly created new Facebook accounts to manage social media posts instead of using a consistent business account. It gave me very little confidence in how the business operates. The customer service has been extremely disappointing. Everything seemed fine while they were taking payments, but when it came to returning money that was sitting as credit on my account, they became difficult to deal with and unresponsive. I would strongly advise anyone considering this company to think very carefully before paying in advance or leaving any credit on their account.
