We reserved a room for two nights at Boomtown in Bossier City Louisiana. We were sent over to Margaritaville due to a unforseen issue with the rooms. We prepaid for the 2 night stay. We paid our deposit and upon leaving we noticed that Margaritaville had charged us for another night and took out another $110, without disclosure or permission We contacted MVBC and were told they would refund the money. We will never stay at MVBC again. This is an illegal act and I will make sure the main office is aware of what occurred. In addition the room we resr3ved are Boomtown was a deluxe King Suite, we were assured that the room at MVBC would be the same, it was a room with 2 queen beds.

Fabulous looking resort with a great pool for children . Nice walking paths around beautiful gardens Disappointed that in high season some services weren’t open and seemed to be a staff shortage . Also on check in we agreed to a $300 hold but actually they held our whole weeks payment , which we’d already paid upfront ! This seems sharp practice and took a week to return into our account . We rented a cottage which was nice but a bit sparse on the kitchen stuff . Eating out choices were a bit limited but Target is walking distance as a back up . The worse thing was we paid for a lake view but were a bit amazed how much litter was around the edge , we never saw anyone go round to clear it up . Had we had proper boots and not flip flops we’d have done it !
