I can always count on Maps of Antiquity to deliver an excellent product with excellent service. Bob has an eye for creative and artistic solutions in dealing with his customers ideas. I have purchased maps and had numerous things framed by this shop. All with great results. They do super work. Thanks Bob and Perri.

1st, you had the map I was looking for. 2nd, website worked well. 3rd, packaging was great. I never comment on shipping because it's in another company's hands but was fine. If there was a option of custom framing, that would have been nice. Maybe there is and I missed that part. If so, then maybe during checkout there is a spot that's obvious. Item is getting framed as I write this.

Thank you for your order and review! We do offer custom framing through our website! There is a section labeled Framing and Services and you can also use the search function of our website to search for framing. Our framing takes about 3 weeks and it does increase the shipping cost, but it's quite convenient to receive the map already framed. We hope we can help with any future map and framing needs!

The map that I bought was very accurate to the picture on the website. When I got it, I got recommended framing recommendations. So excited!

I am fascinated with navigation charts both old and new. When I was in Chatham two years ago, I visited the shop and found navigation charts from the mid-1800's for areas of the Louisiana Gulf Coast that I have been fishing for the last 45 years. My recent purchase was a navigation chart from the mid-1800's of the approaches to a river on the Gulf Coast that I grew up on and a bay that I have fished and boated in for 45 years. I found the navigation chart for the approaches to the river particularly fascinating since my two great-great uncles probably much the same chart as the brought their trading schooners into the river to reach the ports on the river.

Thank you for your order and review. We are so glad you were able to find some great antique charts showing such special locations. How cool that your two great-great uncles may have been using similar charts in their day!
