Very good API service which was easy to implement into my Android app. I am using the free subscription which is enough for my development needs. Minor issue is that there are too many similar terms returned for a GPS location e.g. suburb, borough, municipality, neighbourhood etc. and it's sometimes difficult to pick the right place.

I found the Geocoding service very helpful. Just moved to this from pricey Google services. So far working well. Why only 4 stars: Documentation is kind of sparse. I wish there was a way to test failure cases more easily.

It is a life saver for many who want to try things out. Only thing is in quite a few cases it returns multiple geo codes for the same address otherwise I am pretty impressed with the api.

Using this as the geocoded location of the mobile is not always working. Improvements: add a stable field for the town/city/etc... too many keys indicating the (for me) same thing

Thank you for the feedback. The fields returned in the geocoding API are the Nominatim default fields.

The experience was great. In few minutes I was able to load my csv and get the best of GIS. Included Google features and attribute viewer are awesome. I would suggest little to 'Map Maker' from the license side to open gates for students like me as we are restricted for 500 records. I am a Northwood University student and like to explore more.

Thank you Mohammad. We value and appreciate your feedback. We do have discounted annual rates for select groups, such as students, first responders and governmental entities. We also have a program that donates some Map Maker licenses to academic institutions. Please message us directly and we'd be glad to help. Thanks! Darrin Ward Founder
