DONT PAY FOR THE MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION Im a college student and have not been having a good semester and decided to look at some essays for my own class. I thought it would be alright to spend $10 and then cancel it after I finished my semester. A few days later I checked my back account and THEY CHARGED ME FOR NOT JUST 1 MONTH BUT FOR THE WHOLE YEAR!! It's a straight up scam and I just emailed them telling them to give me my money back and I will wait for as long as I have to. The worst part is that without a doubt most of their customers are college students and he'll they can barely afford anything for themselves so they're stealing from students. PLEEEAAASE DONT SPEND YOUR MONEY ON THEM
Edit: After I demanded my money back they responded the next day AND BLOCKED ME FROM SENDING MESSAGES The DO NOT want to deal with people AT ALL

I used it for ONE hour at the 9.95 a month rate and immediately cancelled expecting it'll charge me for one month. $10 gone no big deal. They charged me 119.00 the next day. I used. For ONE hour and was charged the WHOLE year. DO NOT USE.

This is a rather late review but please hear everything I have to say about this company.
Back on the 11th May 2018 I was researching online to help me with my apprenticeship and I needed some guidance as the resources I was using wasn't helpful enough. I eventually came across a site called Majortests, on this site they have actual documents that students have uploaded to try and help other students who are struggling with their coursework or apprenticeship etc. They have a huge range of different units that can help people, I thought I was quite lucky as I found the actual assignment I was working on. I clicked on it and began reading however half of the document was locked by a paywall, the part I could see was the part I had already done. As I really needed help with this assignment I considered purchasing it as not only could this help me with this assignment but hopefully future ones.
I went through the payment process and then I was greeted with a page where you could choose how you wanted to pay, you could either pay in monthly instalments or yearly instalments. I decided that I would pay the monthly one and then cancel it if I didn't feel like it was helpful enough as the full year was £119 and I didn't want to throw money away like that. I selected the monthly one and then put in my details. Luckily for me I did it through PayPal and thank god I did.
Just moments later after purchasing the subscription it took me to a page stating that I had paid £119 for a full year! I was really annoyed here and to make matters worse, the document that I was viewing was now unlocked but there was nothing past what I could already see so not only had this site robbed me but it had lied and was false advertising a service. I immediately emailed the company and demanded my money back.
I managed to get a response back the same day and they basically said "I am sorry; Per our Terms of Service, we do not offer any refund." They also stated that my account had been deleted which I did not do. I then replied and in my frustration demanded a refund, I stated that I only wanted the £9 a month membership.
I can understand if I purchased the year in error but I did not, I clicked on the monthly subscription and that was it! They came back and stated that they charge for a year upfront so the £9.95X12 is taken immediately and that they don't offer a monthly subscription. This is either Incorrect or they are false advertising as I know what I saw, they offered a monthly subscription or a yearly one, there wasn't just an option for a year. They also stated that they do not issue refunds and that they tried downgrading me to a monthly subscription and give me a pro rata refund but "It Failed" however this completely contradicts what they said previously.
At this point I was really angry with them and got back to them stating that I am not letting this go and I will do whatever it takes to get a refund. On the 13th May they emailed me stating that they tried to refund me but PayPal were stopping it from happening. Now they are going against what they said again or either lying so I went straight to PayPal and got them involved. On the 15th May I spoke with PayPal and they stated that no refund has been attempted and that they are going to contact the company themselves as they were on my side 100%.
It is now 16th May and I still have not received my money back, I emailed them asking where it is and they stated that they tried issuing the refund again but PayPal declined it. Now at this point I was beginning to think that this company was definitely not legitimate as they are constantly contradicting themselves. I got back to them and stated that I have spoken with PayPal again. PayPal have advised that no refund has been attempted again and they are trying to contact the company but getting no response.
I didn't feel like I was getting my money back no matter what I tried, PayPal offered to give me my money back but it would've meant they were out of pocket and I didn't want that, I wanted the money back from Majortests not PayPal. This just kept going on and on until the 1st June when I finally got my money back.
There was no apology from Majortests at all, they are a fraudulent, scamming, horrendous company. They Lied to me, accused PayPal or declining a refund, Stole money from me and False advertised a service that they didn't offer just to scam you.
Please, if you have read all of this DO NOT have anything to do with this site as you will get scammed, I feel like I was really lucky to get my money back and I didn't feel like I ever was, it went on for too long.
