We specifically requested Hotel Rayyan in Makkah and Dar Al Taqwa in Madinah because we were paying for 5-star accommodations. We were also assured that vendor fees would be waived, yet we were still charged those fees in the end. We were told one thing initially and experienced something completely different when it came time to pay. The woman we dealt with, who identified herself as Jawaria, was rude and unprofessional. Despite having months to arrange our hotels, our bookings were not finalized until THE DAY BEFORE OUR DEPARTURE. We ended up at Zam Zam Pullman in Makkah instead of Rayyan and Sofitel in Madinah instead of Dar Al Taqwa. The two weeks leading up to our trip were absolute torture. We constantly called for hotel confirmations and were repeatedly promised they would be sent, but nothing ever came. We had already paid a significant amount of money, yet we were left wondering whether our accommodations were even secured. The anxiety became so severe that one of our family members nearly suffered a heart attack from the stress and uncertainty. To make matters worse, Majmua Travels blocked one of our family members on WhatsApp when they were trying to get answers. This company is so sketchy… they are previously Hajar travels. They took my family of 4 hajj package money of 36k and haven’t returned it. Please be careful. I’m getting the law involved, I called their other line several times. They shut down their Chase businesses account and have rebranded as this.
