The MaidsReviews of maids.com

Because of the reviews and hype that this cleaning company received, I went ahead and contracted "The Maids" to do a deep clean/moveout cleaning job on my house that I just sold. They arrive on time but did not do a thorough cleaning of the house because 1.) they missed the 3 window wells in the basement. 2.) The carpet marks were also not addressed; we had to come back and used an iron with steam to uplift the marks on the carpet and re-vacuum. 3.) The dryer link collector was also missed and we had to point it out to get it cleaned. Lastly, the 22-step checklist that they claim they use to clean a home was never presented to me. I kinda regretted leaving the house to let them do their cleaning because if I had been present, I would have probaby noted anything else that was missed. Oh yeah, the front entrance to the house was not touched and cleaned as well.

I hired the Maids. I did not sign a contract. They cleaned once and sent two homeless looking smokers to my house who did a poor job. They only cleaned half the shower and missed parts everywhere. They were not trained so i called the manager dave at the time. He cancelled my next appointment. The next month that franchise went out of business. A woman who is unidentified called me and said i owed the maids $600 dollars because i was supposed to have hired them for 6 months. I said i am not letting you back in my house. They sent the cost for 5.5 months of not hiring them to collections. I refused to pay for obvious reasons. In 2024, there is a derogatory remark on my credit report saying i owe them $1000. I called Headquarters ashley williams? who denied knowledge of that phone call and my remark on my credit report. (I realized later it was probably her who phoned me.) Now, I tried to get a new credit card and was denied because of this false accusation that i owe them money. They currently are not making people agree to contracts so i am the only one that is screwed over because of their unethical business practices and lies. Please dont hire this company. They will ruin your life. So many other cleaners out there.

The Maids, Working adequate but not great, look round for better. Arrival time always totally ambiguous. If payment is delayed (Banking problems) Hostile, harassing email constantly receive upon the hour. Would NOT recommend.
