Abysmal Customer Service with Questionable Business Practices

As a Magzter GOLD subscriber I was provided with a list of GOLD magazines included as part of my subscription. However, since Nov 2020, three GOLD subscription magazines have failed to be provided. I first contacted "customer service" on Dec 17th to bring this to their attention. Successive email communication has failed to resolve this, culminating in the following boiler-plate response: "Dear xxxxx, Thank you for writing back to us. I am sorry for the inconvenience caused to you in this regard. I have escalated your complaint as critical feedback to our team and they are working on this issue. We at Magzter, strive to deliver best reading experience and services to our customers. However, mishaps like these do happen due to unforeseen disengagement of some publishers. We appreciate your time and patience in this regard. Please feel free to contact us again if you have any other questions." There are two issues that arise: First, Magzter's inability to resolve this complaint, even after two months! (so much for 'escalation'). Second, although Magzter is fully aware that these three magazines are not being released by the publisher (resulting in me missing 9 issues so far...), Magzter still lists these magazines as part of their GOLD subscriber package. Why would they still advertise them as part of the GOLD subscription knowing full well that the magazines are not being provided? Questionable business practice at best. I would avoid any type of subscription with Magzter based on misleading advertising and customer service failures.

Avoid Magzter at all costs !!!!
No way to cancel the subscription and have had £9.25 consistently taken from my bank account . I cannot find a way to stop this . Will be contacting my bank . The FAQ section around cancelling subscription takes you to a blank page that says if you need further assistance to contact us and an email link. This is a scam set up to make it very difficult for you to cancel. I keep getting notifications around setting up a new subscription with a free trial for something I already have which led me to believe I had already cancelled it but clearly not ! not happy at all and I want my money back

Cancellation is impossible - beware
As others have stated, it's either impossible or at the very least very difficult to cancel. I am having to resort to going through my bank to get rid of them. They emailed me back asking for my Magzter ID or email receipt to process my cancellation. I don't get email receipts and there is no Magzter ID in my profile. Also, there is a cancellation button in my profile that conveniently doesn't work - all the other buttons work by the way except for that one. Stay away from this company like the plague.

Charged after cancellation confirmation from magzter
I have sent auto renewal cancellation request before expiration of my 1 month trial. They have responded via mail and confirmed me about cancellation of auto renewal. But it is very unfortunate that on the same day they charged full yearly payment from credit card. I have mailed them regarding payment screenshot and still waiting for response

MAGZTER IS SCAMSTER
I paid for gold subscription almost a week back through card and have been following up with them to activate but there is no response apart from auto reply... they have taken my money and no noise is going to their deaf ears. Asking Magzter to respond and activate urgently else in this age of social media activation, they will not be left Scott free for their mistakes and casual customer handling.

They charge people on things they have…
They charge people on things they have not ordered, won't present an invoice for it, not to mention a refund or access to what they claim you paid for. Email them, asking for any of those - they will repeatedly advise you to log in and out one and one more time.
