Charged for order that never shipped
Update: Order arrived magickally after charge was disputed. Paperwork made it clear that the package never shipped when tracking was first provided. Something shady is going on and I will never do business with them again.
Order placed early March. I was immediately charged and received tracking five days later. The tracking was generated in Hawthorne, CA, but never left. After being told to wait up to 10 business days, I waited.
After 11 days, with no change in tracking, I was told to wait further while the shipping department put a trace on my order. More time passed. I was notified that my order would be sent again.
Days pass; no update. After inquiring again, I am told that one item on my order is out of stock and they are waiting on restock. Three more weeks pass.
They are no longer responding to my emails and a human cannot be reached via their phone number.
Charge is currently being disputed. Buyer beware!

Terrible experience.
Terrible experience.
I placed my order on 3/22 and now it’s 4/11, still haven’t received the order. Below is the timeline:
3/22 - placed order
3/29 - got an email notice order is being ship with tracking number even though status is “USPS is waiting for the package”
4/3 - still “USPS is waiting for package”, I contacted customer service for advise. They responded saying they are checking with shipping, also “USPS is experiencing a delay in updating tracking numbers”.
4/6 - I emailed them again checking on the status. No response.
4/10 - I emailed them again, checking on the status. Also, contacted my credit card to dispute the payment because it’s been almost 3 weeks since I placed the order.
4/11 - Isabel emailed me. Some how magically the shipment was accepted by USPS at 10:26PM on 4/10, scheduled for delivery on 4/17. Isabel then told me I need to contact my credit card to stop the dispute. I told her I cannot contact my credit card until I receive the shipment and there is no issue. She then wrote the below (and I copy exactly her email):
“Okay, but they do request us to respond, and I will be sending them the email where you state below you do see it in transit and still filed a false dispute (which is first person fraud).
Isabel”
So is Isabel trying to threaten me?
I’ve been a loyal customer for the past few years and I should not be treated this way. This is my last time shopping with them. I have learned my lesson.

Terrible
So far my experience has been terrible! My package is sitting somewhere in Hawthorn. Isabel responded to me stating they are looking into it. Well I am giving them until Friday! If nothing is done I am contacting my bank. I will also have a fraud investigation filed on my end by one of the attorneys I work for so the company can be looked into. They are not scamming me!

Scam
Magick.com (aka Magickplanet.com) is a scam. Read other reviews. They lie to you through their teeth all the time. I placed 2 orders, and it takes weeks (about 4) before they ship. When you contact them, you get one excuse after another. For the 1st order, "the package was stolen from USPS." For the 2nd order, "they were waiting for an item to be in-stock" before they could ship, but their website said it was in-stock.
I also had a much bigger and worse problem regarding a return. They gave me a prepaid return label for USPS. The package "disappeared" in transit. I contacted USPS, who told me after several weeks that it was a "really strange tracking number," and that it had been handed off to Fedex. I contacted Fedex, but the bad tracking number made it impossible for me to file a claim. So after FINALLY getting through to a live person at Fedex, they told me Magick had to file a Fedex claim. I spent 1.5+ months asking Magick to file the Fedex claim, and they kept putting me off and not responding. Finally, Isabel, who I had been most in contact with, told me she would file the Fedex claim. Right after that, Isabel and Magick stopped responding to my emails altogether. This is still unresolved after many months of my efforts.
