MadisonbraidsReviews of madisonbraids.com

BE CAREFUL A SCAMMER SITE!!!!!! I ordered from Madison Braids over a year ago and never received anything! They gave me a fake tracking number, and when I confronted them by email they promised me a refund. Then they denied it and completely stopped responding. Terrible scam—avoid at all costs!

What an awful experience. I did the promo where you return the unopened product within 10 days and you are supposed to get your money back. I received the item and saw through the packaging (the product was unopened) that it was not a color match. I contacted them via email for a return label but they don’t offer that or mention that you’ll be responsible for shipping fees to return it, so I spent $6 and my own time to go to the post office. I had to send them the tracking number. I was assured that I would not be charged BUT I did get charged $41.64. Today they gave me a refund of $35.69. “ We refunded you a total of $35.69, and that is a full refund. We can not return the $41.99 (amount of the item) since you used a discount code which gives you a 15% off the original price.” literally mind boggling. It’s SO not worth the headache. I do not recommend this company.

This is not a “Try before you buy” offer as they put a permanent hold on your funds therefore in effect charging you! Their customer service is abysmal at best. DO NOY BUY FROM THEM!!! It is a scam!

This company seems to be a scam. I placed an order. About a week later I received shipping confirmation with a USPS tracking number. A week later and USPS shows they have not received the item. I have contacted the company and they keep telling me that they assure me it's shipped that the issue is with their courier. But they have no issues and so far are refusing my request for a refund. Do not order from this company.

After placing my order I received an email letting me know that there was a misunderstanding and I would be receiving an item that was out of stock. Days before my order arrived I received another email saying my trial period had expired and they charged my account the full amount. When I received the item I immediately sent an email letting them know that i wanted to return and they sent me. They then sent me an email for the return and when I clicked on the link it had already expired keeping me from being able to return the product and get a full refund. This company's alleged free trial period and return policies is a scam.

Bought the top not in platinum, these are not platinum ! They are yellow. Platinum is silver not yellow. So disappointed, the pic on the site is not yellow, it’s platinum, so was surprised when I opened up the packages

I wish I would have read the reviews before I purchased. Many people had the same experience I did. I ordered two of their products, got a tracking number, and the product never moved out of Florida. After contacting them about five times, they finally sent out a color that didn’t match. I returned the mis matched items as requested. Then they never refunded my money or replaced the items. They just kept telling me they had never received them. Now I am out the $60 that I spent for the products plus my time effort and money shipping the mismatched products back.

My order arrived with $3.20 postage due—after I had already included $5.99 postage & handling in the purchase price. When I sent them photographic evidence, they assured me I would receive a refund. That was almost 5 months ago. Still waiting. I returned the obviously synthetic hairpiece that company describes as “platinum” because it is actually “yellow.” They will do anything to avoid issuing a refund, and—after multiple emails, including photos of my own hair (taken outdoors in “natural light” as they requested!), they talked me into ordering a salt & pepper gray color…to go with my platinum gray hair (?). Weeks later when that order arrived—AGAIN with postage due!!—I decided to cut my losses. i refused delivery and asked the post office to return to sender. The company has never followed through by asking why. They wore me down. They win. I have seen ads using the same advertising photos and poorly written text, so It appears this company sells under different names. BEWARE.
