It's unfortunate that this happened, especially knowing that the order was intended for an event.  Unfortunately, extreme weather conditions, including unprecedented heat waves, can occasionally affect products during transit despite our best efforts. A quick note on our macarons: they're not the sugar-forward cookies you'll find at most bakeries. We craft ours to let the real fruit shine through, so the sweetness comes from actual flavor rather than added sugar. That means our macarons taste more delicate and nuanced than what you might expect. If you're used to the sweeter, mass-produced version, ours may taste different at first — but that's by design. We'd rather let good ingredients speak for themselves.
