So I work in the kitchen of a pizza restaurant and am covered in sweat most of the time. I don’t know that I smell badly but I assume that I do. No one has said I do. I decided to try this Lumé stuff. After spending a fortune and waiting an eternity for it, I certainly smell badly now. My girlfriend was the first to say something about how weird I smelled after using Lumé. What a waste of money. The gal in the TV commercial is shetchy. She presents herself as some kind of savior for a problem that she believes we all suffer from. The thing is, there is no problem for most women unless we don’t bathe. I guess I am an idiot for trusting her.

Firstly...lume works wonderfully. I don't get a rash like with other natural deodorants and the long lasting freshness is a plus...BUT...and its a huge BUT! You never can get your items. For months on end products are regularly sold out yet they keep running "sales". I placed my original order in august 2022 and when I inquired about the status of the order in September 2022 the CS agent refunded the order in full without prompt but said that they would still fulfill the order. Ok fine..thats a works. They proceed to tell me they mailed the first order mid September and it gets lost and they also say they're moving warehouses. Ok..ill be patient. Now early October comes and I still have no order. They say the second replacement packages gets lost...AGAIN! mind you they took a few items out from the second order due to low stock so I wasn't even getting the full order. Now a third order goes out mid October and its literally one third of my original order and I don't receive it until NOVEMBER 4TH!!! So it took Lume from AUGUST TO NOVEMBER to fulfill 1/3 of my order!! The agents have been fake sincere and offered nothing but poor excuses. I literally sung the praises of lume on my socials but will no longer do so..not until they get their logistics together. They have made excuse after excuse for not shipping orders(not just mine..look at the reviews). I wish they wouldve just been truthful. I am thoroughly disappointed in their ethics as a company. So zero stars for the customer service and 2 stars for the product.

The product definitely works, but it smells awful! I purchased the lavender fragrance deodorant and tube in a twin pack about six months ago, and still can’t get used to the awful smell.

(72 hour funk control) Forgive me...but WHO in America isn't bathing this long deliberately?! That's why it's hard for me to continue with this product. I knew as a young woman NOT every woman knows proper hygiene nor practices. Daily Soap, water, lotion, powder, perfume is all that's needed. When I purchased I thought I would notice a difference I didn't. As a fit woman who works out, yes I get super sweaty just not gross funky. So it's really for people who may work extreme hours, doesn't like bathing, and isn't diligent. If you work in extreme conditions, 12 hour days, construction I get it. So the price alone isn't worth it for me. I still smelt great with or without Lume. Secret works just fine.

I bought a bundle of things (wipes, cream deodorant, stick) and I really wanted to love this product. I gave it a solid week to see how it went but it does NOT work. I’m still reapplying halfway through the day to cover up any smells. Plus, the product took forever to be shipped then got lost in transit and ultimately didn’t show up to my house until almost a month after ordering.

Just bought $40 worth or products, and the unscented stick deodorant does Not work for me..one day after showering and applying to underarms, the next morning...not fresh smelling at all..Will not purchase again.

I’m currently going through pre-menopause and yet at times my underarms smell as if I was a teenager going through puberty which is what lead me to try the Lume deodorant. First and foremost I do love the scent I chose (clean tangerine) as it had the best reviews. I like that the deodorant goes on clear and is not sticky. The deodorant works for me in controlling my underarm odor where it lacks is keeping me dry! I was using degree for years and it has kept me dry. Lume on the other hand, I hate that it can not control my sweat and seeps through my clothing which is highly unattractive. I’m thinking it is the lack of aluminum that makes my underarms sweat with Lume. As far as reviewers go, there is no one item or deodorant in this case that will work for everyone! This was my personal experience with Lume and that’s it.

I do not recommend it. I have been using Lume way longer than I should of. It worked for a few months, but then just last night someone I am an acquaintance with said "your natural deodorant does not work, and I am not the only one to notice." Considering I do take my hygiene seriously, this was incredibly embarrassing. I will not be continuing it, maybe for my "bits" but definitely not for my pits. I will use until it runs out, but that's it.
