Very bad experience with Lovestream company that provides photo booth for events. We selected to have the printer as well and that never worked except for printing one picture. The company did not provide even a partial refund. Will not use this company ever again. The whole point of having the printer was to give the pics as wedding favors. Customer service was ok but the whole experience left a bad taste considering they are so cheap as to not even give a partial refund.

Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear the experience didn’t meet your expectations. Our support team worked with you in real time to troubleshoot, and we were glad to hear the printer was ultimately up and running. We also checked in later that evening and were told guests were enjoying the setup.
We always aim to deliver a great experience and appreciate the opportunity to have been part of your event.

We got one of these for our wedding. We set it up the day before and everything worked as promised. Live printing, email messages, online. Everything looked great and we were really excited. We even planned a receiving line where all our guests could come greet us and get a picture together with us at the photobooth. Day of the wedding, right after the ceremony we're at the booth, the DJ calls all the guests over to line up for a receiving line. First picture we take the printer errors, it lost connection. Couldn't get it to reconnect. Tried sending the text message, emails, tried pulling up the gallery. Nothing. Guests are looking at us. It's awkward. Wedding coordinator, dj, photographer, family all coming over making suggestions trying to reassure us. We ended up not using the photo booth at all and having someone else take pictures of us and our guests. Terrible experience. Would have been more entertaining to hand out 600 $1 bills to our guests and have them all set the money on fire. At least it wouldn't have ruined our plans and blew up our timeline.

We’re sorry to hear about your experience — especially on such an important day. We always recommend reaching out to our support line during events, as many issues can be resolved quickly in real time.
The good news: your digital photos were not lost. Once the standard post-event steps were completed, your gallery and files were successfully delivered. Regarding the printer, we’re reviewing the returned equipment to better understand what happened and determine next steps.
We’ve also reached out directly to continue the conversation and ensure this is properly addressed.

TL;DR Terrible Experience, Abhorrent Customer Service
EDIT: since I am unable to reply to LoveStream’s response directly, I will address it here.
1. In advance of the event, I did request small edits to the graphic on my photo strip. The font being changed, tweaking the placement of graphic elements, and requesting the text to be lowercase. Per my original contract with LoveStream, I was allowed two edits. I received one initial mock up, requested changes, received an updated mock up, requested edits, and then received my final mockup. I’m not understanding how this exceeds their norm if that is what is stated in the original contract.
2. The equipment was received early. It was shipped to my in-laws’ home in advance of my son’s birthday party. I did the initial charging of the iPad the night before, but I did choose not to use the printer before the event in order to save the prints I paid for. This is why no issues were reported at that time.
3. The assertion that the printer issues stemmed from handling is ERRONEOUSLY false. After first use the printer did not work and customer support was contacted.
4. I should not have to contact support multiple times over the course of an event I am hosting.
5. I received 23 photos over the course of a 6 hour party. I just attempted to log in to my photo gallery to confirm, and LoveStream has deleted my gallery.
6. You may notice that there are no other negative reviews. If you’re smart, you’re questioning why that is. Surely not everyone has a positive experience with this product, right? Upon posting my experience, I was contacted by LoveStream (thanks, Ryan) and was offered a more substantial refund in exchange for signing a settlement agreement and deleting my negative review. I refused to take down my review and have not heard from them since. Ashley, the Customer Success Leader, looked me up on LinkedIn which feels intrusive and borderline intimidating. This leads me to question their practices. I’m not sure what she was hoping to gain by that, but I will not be intimidated into silence, nor will I censor my experience for their benefit.
I’d like to preface this by stating I do not generally write reviews. However, the experience I had with this company has prompted me to do just that.
I recently utilized this product, and I must say, my experience has been far from satisfactory. From the start, the quality did not meet my expectations. It was plagued with issues that rendered it almost unusable. I spent an inordinate amount of time at my child’s first birthday party on FaceTime with tech support attempting to resolve issues relating to the Photo Booth. Ultimately, I gave up, choosing to spend time celebrating my child instead of wasting my time attempting to get the equipment to work.
The primary problem was the frequent malfunctions that required constant reboots, making it incredibly frustrating to use. I expected a reliable product, especially given the price I paid, but it fell short in every way.
Customer service offered a minimal refund ($100 out of $475), which is inadequate considering the hassle I endured. I would not recommend this product to anyone looking for a dependable solution, as my experience has been overwhelmingly negative. Save your time and money.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We're genuinely sorry to hear the booth didn’t perform as expected on such a special day, and we understand how frustrating that must have been.
Ahead of your event, our team worked closely with you, including multiple rounds of custom graphic edits beyond what’s typically included. We also ensured the booth arrived two days early to give ample time for setup and testing, and no issues were reported at that time.
On the day of the party, our records show the printer issue stemmed from handling that unfortunately caused damage. While our support team worked to assist you in real time, we pivoted to ensure the digital experience continued—and over 150 photos were successfully captured.
To help make things right, we offered to refund the full difference between the digital and printed package and offered to send printed versions of your photos. We truly regret the disruption and appreciate your feedback—it helps us continue improving for all our clients.
