I requested an account cancellation by email in Oct 2025 and followed up with a second email in Nov 2025. I heard nothing. The account was eventually closed in Feb of 2026. Even after speaking with the account rep, who promised to get back to me with a response to my complaint, no response was received.

I tried to update the building info online. You can't update it online. They need to review it manually. It's ridiculous because all the buildings info is publicly available on building dept website. It can easily be done by AI automatically. I guess they try to force people to call in to speak to a rep so they can do the up-selling tactics. They are the monopoly in this market. Be aware of the dirty tactics. Once you sign up the membership. You can't cancel it online. You need it speak to a rep to do so.

Worst experience of false advertising! We go online to look at a price to list the building. We’re quoted one price and then someone calls an up sells us or says that doesn’t exist so we confirm for three months and then I get charged for 10 months! We will never use this company again or any other affiliates!

They’re making it to hard to cancel. Even after canceling you will still get charged and all they can say is it was on the contract you agreed to it. Cannot get a refund from them at all. I would never use it if I knew about this and do not recommend it to anyone

“My experience with LoopNet/CoStar has been extremely frustrating. After paying for a full year, I have been trying to cancel my subscription for over 5 months. Instead of resolving the issue, I keep receiving excuse after excuse and being told that my request has been sent to another department. Despite repeated follow-ups, the account has not been canceled. The lack of transparency and customer support has been very disappointing.”
