Thank you so much for sending me the book about explaining racism, along with the online and paper resources. The book explains simply and concisely what racism is and has clear and student-friendly language to explain systemic racism and lived experiences. My school is in Canada and we have been able to access the online resources easily. I appreciate these resources so much. Thank you!

I received the Black Changemakers kit and it was absolutely beautiful. My students were so excited to use the resources as part of our Black History Month research project! We also will display the picture book and cards throughout the rest of the year too!

I received the Worker's Rights Kit and the picture book and resources are phenomenal. Not only is the picture book high quality, but the additional resources that are sent with it are so comprehensive. I love that there are tips for teachers to help navigate what could be a tricky conversation, important words to know, as well as additional places to look for more information. I can tell this kit was very thoughtfully put together with teachers in mind.

I absolutely loved the Mental Health kit I received! I really liked the book that was given to me with the kit, and it was a book I do not have in my classroom library, nor is it one that I had heard about, but I really love the way it addresses feeling blue. I also found the digital resources, and the tips for adults/caregivers really helpful. I like the language that they provided to help spark conversations with my students, and provided me with enough background so that I felt comfortable talking about some things that might be a little challenging to address. I am so grateful for Little Justice Leaders, and have also started following them on social media after this experience. Their social media account is amazing!! It is full of amazing resources, language, suggestions, and information. I am so glad I found them through this opportunity!

Fantastic little kit. I have looked over it all and I have a plan for my kids for an upcoming session.

I loved it! This was such a great resource for teaching about fake news for our younger readers/students.

I absolutely love their kits. They're always age-appropriate, covers variety of topics and most of all my class always loves it!

Little Justice Leader boxes are amazing! Shelby is very thoughtful about the boxes she creates & collaborates with many activists to help educators bring in & discuss current & relevant social justice issues. Each box comes with a beautiful book and activities. My students love doing the activities and it's heart warming to see them go back to re-read the books from the boxes. Highly recommend Little Justice Leaders for anyone who is just starting on their journey of bringing in more social justice in the classroom. I've been able to get more colleagues to think about infusing social justice into their teaching by just showing them the boxes each month!
