I'm sorry that the batteries and battery door are giving you issues. Batteries typically last 7-10 days. Please try setting the batteries out for five minutes without the brown tab before you place them into your hearing aids. This should prolong the battery life. If the battery door is broken please call our customer service line at 888-320-0424. We are open 7 days a week and are able to walk you through replacing the battery door or send you a new one. Dear Gene, Thank you for your feedback about our product. If the sound quality is not as clear as you would like, please call our customer service line at 888-320-0424 and we would be happy to have your hearing aids reprogrammed based on your personalized audio gram free of charge. We recommend that customers utilize the various rubber domed ear tips included in our packages as they are designed to eliminate certain sound quality issues. For battery life issues, please remember to allow the batteries to charge for 3 to 5 minutes without the sticker tab to increase battery life. Remember to leave the battery door open when the hearing aids are not in use. If these issues persist, please call our customer service line. Thank you, Listen Clear
