The ear buds also need to be changed every four to six months. After that, the silicone starts to break down physically and ability-wise. Mr. Scherry- We're sorry you're having issues with the hearing aids. It looks like you haven't talked to Customer Service in a year. We can reprogram the hearing aids to a hearing test or to your specifications. This is a free service and we pay for the shipping both ways. With the age of the hearing aids, it's probably a tip issue. The tips need to be cleaned once a week. Take the white tips off the receiver wires and wash them in soap and water. Make sure the tips are dry before you put them back on the wires. The ear buds also need to be changed every four to six months. After that, the silicone starts to break down physically and ability-wise. This can lead to the hearing aids working intermittently, feedback from not fitting well, or not clicking onto the receiver wires like before. Static is usually from water damage. Also, the Batteries for Life program contains eight batteries per month.

Ms. Houston- The Battery Program is optional. We offer a month’s supply of batteries (eight) every 30 days for a shipping and handling charge of $6.95 per month. You can start and stop this program at any time. The batteries are also able to be bought locally at most stores or online.
