Do not purchase from this company... So I heard about Lip Monthly through a Facebook ad and check their website. I wasn’t too interested at first but decided after the offered me 50% off to try it for six months. So almost two months go buy and I receive nothing from this company. You can’t call them they only communicate by email so I send them several messages stating I never got delivery. Then I get an email stating I didn’t get it because it wasn’t sent and that they would sent me my package for May which I received June 1st. Mind you my subscription was for two bags and I only received one bag. Extremely disappointed how I have been treated as a first time customer and canceled my subscription.

Hi Lea, we're sorry you had this experience with Lip Monthly.
We've recently switched to a new customer service team that's 24/7 and we have live chat on our website. If you reach out of them, they will definitely help you and solve this issue.

This company is fraudulent and uses …
This company is fruadulant and uses decietful practices in their business. They claim you go cancel your subscription at anytime by simply clicking on cancel subscription however that is NOT the case. Instead of canceling your subscription like you requested, then send you an email with the subject confirmation of cancellation request. This is where they get you. If you don't read the email, your account is technically still active DESPITE you clicking on cancel my subscription. They call it a "retention email" that gives you options to stay on board. If someone cancels their subscription why would they want options to stay on board?
BUYER BEWARE! If you cancelled like I did and they are still billing your account, contact your CC company and file a fraud complaint and a chargeback against this horrible company.

Hi there,
As you've described above, this is a method that some of the largest subscription companies in the world use, such as Ipsy.
As for the retention email, there are many reasons someone would want to cancel, such as: they've received too many products, financial reasons, taking a break, poor service, etc. Many of the people that decide to cancel actually choose a plan that's from our retention email, which includes: skipping a month (for people that have too many lip products, but still want to receive them on a less frequent basis), downgrading (also for people who are receiving too many products or for financial reasons), receive a bag quarterly (also for people receiving too many products or for financial reasons).
We have recently removed the retention email and when a customer clicks cancel they are directly to the retention page to avoid confusion.

BEWARE
BEWARE: this subscription is such a scam. It took nearly two months for my to receive my first box and I got charged for my second one before I could even see the first one. The box itself has lower than drugstore quality lip products -- not worth the price of the box. Customer service did nothing for me even after I complained about being charged for box #2 before getting #1. Finally, they make cancelling super scammy. After you "request" to cancel on their website they send you an email with a tiny link at the bottom. I thought I had cancelled but it doesn't count until you read that email and click the tiny link. Don't waste your time or money.

Hi Sally,
Sorry you had a poor experience with our company.
As for being charged twice before receiving a bag, we've fixed this issue with our billing and shipping system in order to provide a better experience with customers.
To address the drugstore quality products, we work with small and large brands and the value of the bag is always over $50. You can go to the brands website and see the retail value of each products in the bag as well as the postcard we include that details the bags/products retail value.
Finally, to address our cancellations, this is a method that some of the largest subscription companies in the world use, such as Ipsy.
