Waste of Time and Possibly a Scam.
I received a cold call (email) from Micheal (Mike) with the usual language representing Lion Head's lending abilities. After a pleasant call with Mike, I submitted the requested banking documents (which in hindsight was likely not a good idea). A day went by and I emailed Mike for an update. No response. I emailed again, only to have Mike send a one sentence response that there was no interest. This made clear that LionHead was a brokerage firm shopping applicants' financial data. It was represented that the underwriting and financing was done in house to avoid committee review and delays. I emailed Mike again and received another one sentence response and then no response to my last email. I'm now concern that I shared financial information without any protection that this was a scam just to access banking information. I would not recommend Lion Head or any of the many cold call emails.

After an in depth review of your communication with your assigned rep, we saw that over email and phone call you were informed that your business unfortunately did not meet our minimum requirements. Additionally, we provided a solution with an alternative program you may qualify for that we emailed you information on and never heard back. Please check your email and get back to us if you are still interested in receiving financing. We apologize you were declined from our initial criteria.

Cold called me repeatedly for months
Cold called me repeatedly for months. Finally decided to try it. Nothing but a headache. Sent over all the documents they wanted, they sent me docs to sign for the loan, done deal. Then these clowns decide to want a ton of extra stuff after the fact. After sending my bank statements a voided check, these clowns decide to want to do a bank verification claiming they want to make sure the account is current and real claiming it may be fraud. What a joke

Bank verification is a standard procedure that the high majority of lenders use to ensure the account is current and open, due to the high amount of fraudulent businesses that apply. We had been cursed at multiple times throughout the process, so we had hoped the Plaid link to make things easier for you. You can research more here at: https://plaid.com/ . Plaid is the industry standard, that Visa had looked at acquiring a few years back. You can call them if you have further questions regarding your data or experience with them. In regards to “repeatedly calling you for months”, our records show we had only called you 3 times prior, and on the 4th call you expressed your interest in the $43k for your upcoming project. You may have received one or two emails from us prior to you picking up the phone as well.
