This company used to be a good place…
This company used to be a good place until AI slop became a trend. Yes, there are low high middle management and scam contractors who only want to exploit both the company and other workers, they even practice favoritism which means they will force other out and sneak in their acquaintances/friends/someone who paid them to get the job position. The AI slop didn't help much as they will cut the rate down and double the volume of work. The payment is late and withheld for no reason, until they decide that they don't want to pay you and will give you excuse such as "your work isn't up to standard" long after the project has ended.
