Account created without permission
I bought tickets for a show at a venue I had never been to before, was referred via bandsintown.com to a vendor using the domain eventim.us and also identifying itself with the domain seetickets.us. Since this was a ticket purchase, I thought it was wise to create an account, which I did do, at the domain eventim.us. At no time did I give permission to store my credit care information. The purchase went through OK, but afterwards I got several emails from link.com claiming that an account had been created and my information had been saved.

Thanks for letting us know—and we’re sorry to hear you were surprised by the Link account notifications after buying tickets. Link is a saved‑payment and checkout product that can create a profile to store payment and contact details so future checkouts are faster—because the experience is designed to be seamless, some users may not realise an account was created during a quick payment flow on a merchant’s site. If you didn’t consent to a Link profile or want saved payment details removed, please contact Link Support at https://support.link.com/contact/login? so the team can confirm whether a Link profile exists for your email or card, remove any saved details, and advise next steps—we can’t investigate or change account data publicly.
