While the customer service was GREAT the return policy is not user friendly. I should of read the fine print. I have purchased from other company's and they take a return back no problem no charge. Gregory charges up to 25% per item I could of purchased the same fixtures elsewhere and should of but I did not read the fine print it was my fault but the policy is not competitive sad for me good for Gregory

Spent $10,243 over 5 invoices for renovation Returned $134 for store credit, spent inordinate amount of time having this checked and re-checked before leaving the store, had to sign for the credit, which I did. Returned to pick up trims (to replace trims I was incorrectly advised to buy, and which I haven't returned) and to use store credit. Because of a discrepancy in the (invisible to me) computer vs the well checked and rechecked invoice, that I went over with staff back when it was originally received, and that I signed when I originally returned the items. What should have been 5 minutes to pick up tris using store credit, turned out to be an hour, with my issued and signed store credit taken upstairs. It was revised downwards by less than $10. Arbitrary. Untrustworthy (I was there and went over the returned items for which I received the credit, and now didn't have this prior paperwork on me). After greater than $10,000 spent, truly petty. Disgustingly petty. Will decline the charge with AmEx. You wasted my time and the time of your staff over less than $10 that I promise you will not get. And lost me forever. What is wrong with you?

Sales people just want the commissions. They're careless, don't provide important information unless you specifically ask, and don't seem to care about repeat business. I would never go back and would never recommend them to others.

Ordered a light fixture for a ceiling fan. Never received confirmation that my order was shipping. No updates whatsoever despite repeated emails and calls to the rep I placed the order with. Several weeks later the charge for the light appeared on my Amex, but again no update from Lighting By Gregory. After several more unreturned calls and emails I gave up. Several more weeks later the fixture arrived. Will not be returning to LBG in the future.

Lighting By Gregory is one of the worst retail experiences I have ever had. If you have ANY other option other than shopping here, such as cutting your own arms off and using them as lamp stands, you should do that instead.

Never buy online. You have to mail the lamp back to the original manufacturer (without getting a return label) and then LBG sends you a check in the mail (!!) when the manufacturer approved. Last century and bad customer service!

Had issue with color of light shade. Many calls not returned, ultimately photo of shade on website did not accurately represent true color. Representative did offer a return.

I was not impressed by the customer service at the store. Unfortunately, the salesperson we typically use was on vacation. I was helped by another gentleman who did not seem too bothered about helping me. I had two separate lighting fixtures I was looking for, and he told me they didn't have either in the store. He said I would have to look at the online catalog. I have no problem looking at the online catalog, but he sort of dismissed me quickly and I awkwardly turned around to leave as I realized I would get no further help or attention from him. I am no lighting expert, so I was in need of some professional assistance, which I did not receive. Overall, not a great trip to Lighting By Gregory.
