Maybe I didn't quite order the right supports, but they seem a bit weak. They certainly cannot raise the glass by themselves. I need to assist them on the way up, but they hold the glass up once they are in the raised position.

They seem like they will fit. My problem is that I cannot remove the top ball connection on the original strut. While you state that there is a clip that needs to be loosened with a screwsriver, that connection on my RX7 does not exhibit any such clip. I am still attempting to take the old strut off. Any thoughts?
