The problem did not happen while the tech was here so therefore he did not do anything to remedy the situation. I did hold the lever while going up and down the stairs in the chair lift so that was not the issue!

When the office service rep followed up on my urgent (second) request to double check their busy schedule for an emergency visit to our home on a Friday afternoon, we were delighted she found a time slot because we had an important event to attend and could not do without the chair that weekend. And the young man who performed the service was very thorough, professional, competent, and helpful. Unfortunately, he could not determine the specific cause (and therefore, a specific solution) but got the stairway working. So we give these two employees 5 stars. However, given we had our annual maintenance in December, we were disappointed that we had to experience any problem so soon (thus, the 4).

Installation assessment support by Glenn was very prompt, thoughtful and just excellent. 5 stars for that. Installation by Kevin was also excellent. Communication was very clear, he addressed all questions and was a pleasure to work with. 5 stars for that too! As a returning customer I Would request lifeway mobility to consider including auto swivel chair option for rental too as it makes a life changing difference to many customers who need that feature but are not able to invest in a purchase. That would enable me to give the company 5 stars all round.

Colin and the other Lifeway service personnel have been great. My complaint is with the quality of the Handicar chairlift. Compared to my other chairlift, a Bruno, there is little comparison, and I wish that I had also purchased a Bruno unit for that area. Lifeway has had service personnel at my house on three occasions during a one month time to service the Handicar unit. My overall experience is four stars, because Lifeway probably did the best they could with the Handicar, otherwise my rating would have been one star.

very nice folks to work with only problem I am having is I need to have them come out and level the unit again and there is a bump coming in to the unit from garage floor that causes my son to have difficulty getting on to the unit from garage floor.

Only metal ramps in specific configuration are available. I can’t enter or exit my house. Thou a solution was found for front entry I was referred to 3rd party sites to purchase what I needed for entry. Exit door is narrow and could not be addressed

The crew did a very good job assembling the stairlift and were helpful in explaining how the stairlift operates. I appreciate that they vacuumed the stairs when they were done, too, and will take care of the small dents made in our floor. The curving rail, however, could have been several inches closer to the wall in order to allow for more leg room (we have a narrow staircase). I'm told it was constructed to be 8" from the wall, while the description in your literature says the rail would be "within 7.5 inches." Nevertheless, the stairlift will be vey helpful in getting up and down the stairs. Thank you, Lifeway Mobility!
