The package of dog food had two different sizes. One small size( the size I need) and one size larger. What is abundance going to do about it?

Thank you for your review. After looking at your account, a replacement bag is already on its way. In addition, we wanted to let you know that each batch of food is tested and must pass our quality control standards. Kibble size will vary, and because we do not include additives to make each batch look and smell exactly the same, we do expect some variation. However, if you feel that the difference in size was excessive, we would appreciate it if you could also send pictures to us at [email protected].

Disappointed!
I've been using your food for a couple years now been on autoship you didn't inform me that the price went up even if I use the autoship it didn't give me any discounts at all it's super expensive I barely could afford it as is and my dog didn't even like it that much so I am now switching food do something he likes oh, good for him and cheaper.

We always strive to be transparent which is why we informed Autoship customers of price changes via a video message in their Autoship reminder emails. We are absolutely committed to maintaining the quality of products we offer. This commitment along with market conditions, meant that a price increase was necessary. For dry dog food, the increase is about $0.07 per cup. In addition, we do still offer a discount when you are enrolled in our Autoship program. We hope your pup lives a happy and healthy life by your side!

The shipping is a nightmare
The shipping is a nightmare. I have been a customer for over 2 years and consistently have to call/Email about the way the boxes arrive. It makes me uncertain about the integrity of the product. Many pics to prove.

Food OK, Shipping Exorbitant
The food itself seems fine, my new kitten munches on it free fed between wet food feedings. I got Life’s Abundance because that’s what the breeder was using. I’m used to paying premium prices for premium food, BUT not for shipping charges on top of that which account for a third of the price. No way will I ever pay $9 on top of the retail price again. That’s just ridiculous. Not going to travel over 100 miles to buy it in person, so I’ll be using this one bag to mix and transition my kitten to something more reasonable. I mean, $9 more for a 6 lbs bag!? That’s just not happening again. Can’t believe you can’t negotiate a better deal with UPS, or get more retail stores to sell for you.

We can certainly understand your concerns about shipping charges. We’re concerned, too. At Life’s Abundance, we are constantly looking for ways to keep shipping reasonable and improve delivery times. We’re not a mega-corporation that manufactures massive amounts of products and brands, storing them in huge clearing houses where they’re kept for long periods of time waiting to be shipped out to smaller warehouses and store stock rooms until ordered or stocked on the shelves. We’re all about premium quality, safety and superior service.Our products are made in frequent batches and shipped directly to one of our clean, climate-controlled warehouses where they are carefully boxed and shipped. And, in case we need to communicate with you about any of our products, we have a quick response system to share information quickly and effectively. These are services and peace of mind you just don't get with those mega-corporations.

had to wait over a year to order the wet food even though I am a customer for the past 5 years and have an account - I understand that there was for some reason a shortage BUT I also understand it was only offered to those who had it on Autoship and since I order mine by the case and took it off the autoship order - they would not allow me to order it. Had to look into other food alternatives for our 3 dogs! Sad you had me take my business elsewhere.

We completely understand your disappointment in not being able to get our canned foods. As you know, canned food manufacturing is experiencing significant challenges in ingredient supply. We are sorry that timing did not allow you the chance to join Autoship. As you have learned, those enrolled in this discount program had the additional benefit of already being in line to receive inventory when it becomes limited. Currently, all canned varieties for dogs are available with a maximum of 5 cases per variety. We will continue to meet your need for canned food as long as we are able. Unfortunately, we cannot predict how long this might be. It is our intention to offer these premium items again in the future. However, because of current supply chain conditions, we cannot speculate as to when this might be. At this time, manufacturers who could possibly take on our production simply do not meet our standards for quality and safety. At Life's Abundance, the choice is clear - we will not pursue substandard products for the sake of profit. Please know we value each and every customer, and appreciate your business.

Too much perfume
Too much perfume in both of these products. Opened both bottles to smell them and the scent was so strong I had an instant dislike. Put the bottles into a different room and still so strong ended up just tossing into the garbage. Others may be fine but with this but I couldn’t tolerate how strong the perfume scent was. Sorry!

Mistake.
This is the food the breeder stated they were feeding our puppy. We went ahead and purchased the 17 lb bag just so we would be set for a while. Big mistake. Our puppy won't eat it. Our vet said he was under weight and gave us a different food to try. He loves the new food. Not to mention $70 for 17 lbs of food is ridiculous. Our puppy loves the Hills Science diet and now we are stuck with this overpriced kibble. It should also be noted that this is an mlm/pyramid scheme company. I knew that buying it but wanted him to eat food I thought he would like.

If you'd like, you can try feeding him a kibble or two as a treat to entice him. In regards to the pricing, we realize that when you compare a bag of Life’s Abundance pet food to other foods, it may seem like ours are more expensive to feed. However, in general, that’s not the case at all. The most accurate way to compare the price of one pet food versus another is the cost to feed a meal. For example, the suggested amount to feed a 30 lb. dog Life’s Abundance All Life Stage kibble is 1 ½ cups whereas a competing food may be 2 ½ cups. So, if both foods cost 50 cents a cup, the Life’s Abundance would cost 75 cents to feed and the competing food would cost $1.25 to feed. Because our Life’s Abundance dry pet foods are so nutrient dense, the suggested feeding is generally less so it ends up costing less to feed than other brands.
In addition, the reason that our products are sold exclusively through Independent Field Representatives is because it gives us a unique measure of control over the quality of our products. On the flip side, products sold through large format retailers are funneled through a complex distribution channel. In this scenario far too many factors like storage temperatures, pest control and length of time in storage are outside of the manufacturer's control. At Life's Abundance, we make premium, highly nutrient-rich consumables - and that's what we deliver, too. On top of that, our Independent Field Reps are the customer's best advocate, truly understanding your needs and goals, and helping to find the best solution for each family.
