We have been using this food now for 3 years and never had any issues with it. Samson loves it. However I've noticed the bag that it comes in now doesn't have a zip close. That is unfortunate as it was very convenient to keep the food remaining in the bag closed and fresh. Hopefully you will be moving back to that packaging. It would have rated as 5 stars otherwise.

Thank you for your review and for your loyalty for the past 3 years. As a long-time customer, you know at Life’s Abundance we’re all about premium quality, safety, and superior service and we’re proud of it. That being said, we understand your frustration with the zipper-less bags and apologize for any inconvenience it’s caused you. Please know this is just a temporary change while we work on introducing our newly designed bags, complete with an upgraded resealable closure we know you’ll love.

We have 4 cats and one dog. While the consistent quality of the food has been excellent I have two issues with company that I have inquired about 2 times and have never gotten a response beyond - "let us help you with your auto-ship." The first is actually three issues in one: how the shipping occurs--that it is wasteful and evidently not able to be addressed. With four cats and a dog the auto-ship is enormous and neither my husband and I can lift the huge box. Poor delivery guys. Imagine our horror when the delivery is dropped 100s of feet from our house due to delivery rules that say they cannot come up into our more than manageable drive to deliver to our front door. Evidently "the shipping department" cannot be contacted to advise breaking one box into at least two - which means I have to keep track of and arrange (and pay for) two different "auto" ships every month because I am not allowed to have two concurrent auto ships. Which brings me to the second (and third) issue - waste of resources and my money. Why, oh why, will they not make large cans for wet cat food instead of the tiny" single serve" which is now the only option - the cost is more, the waste is more and the shipping is ridiculous, especially given that each "flat" is individually boxed and plastic wrapped. If the company didn't seem to push and purport so many "healthy" items I would assume they are just about the money. However, I have never been able to find one negative review about the pet products and food so I guess they are the best and most trustworthy for what they make.

Puppy Starter Pack I ordered the puppy started pack which came with a lot of different items. I was excited with the quality and array of treats/food included in this pack. However, I did have to deduct 1 start because the cap on the dog shampoo was broken upon arrival. Thank goodness it was sealed. We have yet to try the bully sticks and the biscuits because they are too big for the puppy. Haven't had a need to use the shampoo or ear cleaner yet. They do smell great! Quality of food: 5 Quality of Packing: 4 Ability to use all food items now: 4 (They save for a while so it will be OK)

I use Life Abundance from a recommendation from our breeder. Price and size is comparable to others. Shipping was quick, two of the cats love it, one is not so keen on it. Only thing , is once so far we have found a very fine, long bone in a can. We were glad we seen it and the cats did not eat it. Must taste yummy two cats love it and gobble it up real fast!

The only reason I didnt do 5 stars is that there is not an option for chicken free food. My dogs are sensitive to chicken. I thought the Turkey with chicken combo might work but unfortunately they got upset stomachs and very itchy skin. On the positive side their fur was very soft and shiny and the ingredient combinations are nice except for the chicken. It would be great if there was a fish only option.
