Unfortunately, we are not immune to rising costs. To continue selling our products at last season's prices is simply unfeasible. Thank you for your review! We understand the frustration when you can't find what you need from us. Unfortunately, we had to take some of our products off sale due to both reduced supply and delivery delays. We are working hard to get these products back on sale soon. As far as shipping charges, we can certainly understand your concerns. We’re concerned, too. At Life’s Abundance, we are constantly looking for ways to keep shipping reasonable and improve delivery times. We’re not a mega-corporation that manufactures massive amounts of products and brands, storing them in huge clearing houses where they’re kept for long periods of time waiting to be shipped out to smaller warehouses and store stock rooms until ordered or stocked on the shelves. We’re all about premium quality, safety and superior service at Life’s Abundance. Our products are made in frequent batches and shipped directly to one of our clean, climate-controlled warehouses where they are carefully boxed and shipped. And, in case we need to communicate with you about any of our products, we have a quick response system to share information quickly and effectively. These are services and peace of mind you just don't get with those mega-corporations. Unfortunately, taking the canned food off sale was a difficult decision to make but a necessary one as our manufacturer has been unable to meet our production quantity requests. Because of this, and because they undergo minimal processing, there will be natural variation between each treat. Thank you so much for your feedback! We realize that when you compare a bag of Life’s Abundance pet food to other foods, it may seem like ours are more expensive to feed. However, in general, that’s not the case at all. That’s because the most accurate way to compare the price of one pet food versus another is the cost to feed a meal. For example, the suggested amount to feed a 30 lb. dog Life’s Abundance All Life Stage kibble is 1 ½ cups whereas a competing food may be 2 ½ cups. So, if both foods cost 50 cents a cup, the Life’s Abundance would cost 75 cents to feed and the competing food would cost $1.25 to feed. Because our Life’s Abundance dry pet foods are so nutrient dense, the suggested feeding is generally less than many other brands so it ends up costing less to feed than other brands.
