Thank you for your review. We appreciate your feedback, as constant improvement is the cornerstone of our business. We realize that when you compare a bag of Life’s Abundance pet food to other foods, it may seem like ours are more expensive to feed. However, in general, that’s not the case at all. That’s because the most accurate way to compare the price of one pet food versus another is the cost to feed a meal. Because our Life’s Abundance dry pet foods are so nutrient dense, the suggested feeding is generally less than many other brands so it ends up costing less to feed than other brands.

Thank you for your review. We believe in honest, direct communication, so I apologize if we didn’t provide you with the information you were looking for. To answer your question, the majority of our ingredients are sourced domestically, however, some ingredients are not readily commercially available in the U.S., to us, or anyone. It would be unethical for us to pretend otherwise. Having a safe, high-quality, reliable supply of the ingredients we’ve carefully selected for each formula is an important part of our commitment to quality and safety. All other factors, including price and country of origin come later.

Thank you so much for your review! We’re so happy to hear your cat and dog are doing well on the food and commend you for your commitment to improving the environment. At Life’s Abundance, we want to make this world a better place for all people and their pets. Our goal is to become a carbon negative company within the next two years — this means that we will be removing more carbon dioxide from the atmosphere than we emit. While lofty, it’s a worthwhile goal. Quarter by quarter, we are offsetting the calculated carbon footprint of our headquarters and all six of our warehouse locations. And we are not stopping there. The plan in place will completely offset the footprints of the daily commute of all employees, the transit and delivery of all packages we ship and receive, and even our annual convention! From our new solar panels powering our headquarters, to our partnership with Tree’s for the Future (+140,000 trees and counting!), Life’s Abundance is working on making a difference.
