What a great question! The answer is simply because that's not how we've chosen to sell our products. The reason that our products are sold exclusively through Independent Field Representatives is because it gives us a unique measure of control over the quality of our products. On the flip side, products sold through large format retailers or even mega-online retailers are funneled through a complex distribution channel. In this scenario far too many factors like storage temperatures, pest control and length of time in storage are outside of the manufacturer's control. At Life's Abundance we make premium, highly nutrient-rich consumables - and that's what we deliver, too. On top of that, our Independent Field Reps are the customer's best advocate, truly understanding your needs and goals, and helping to find the best solution for each family. We would really love to understand the problem that you experienced so that we can address it for you. Most of the time we ship the same day an order is received, and transit time is between just one and three days. As for the cost, we realize that when you compare a bag of Life’s Abundance pet food to other foods, it may seem like ours are more expensive to feed. However, in general, that’s not the case at all. That’s because the most accurate way to compare the price of one pet food versus another is the cost to feed a meal. For example, the suggested amount to feed a 30 lb. dog Life’s Abundance All Life Stage kibble is 1 ½ cups whereas a competing food may be 2 ½ cups. So, if both foods cost 50 cents a cup, the Life’s Abundance would cost 75 cents to feed and the competing food would cost $1.25 to feed. Because our Life’s Abundance dry pet foods are so nutrient dense, the suggested feeding is generally less than many other brands so it ends up costing less to feed than other brands.

Outside of the G.I. symptoms that can sometime come with an abrupt change in diet, any form of illness is by no means a normal occurrence resulting from regular feeding conditions. We take all reports of adverse, or suspected adverse reactions very seriously. If you truly think that a Life's Abundance diet contributed to your pups' stomach upset, please report it to our Customer Care team so we can investigate fully. Thank you for trying our puppy food. One of the benefits of they way our products is sold is that in most cases we have a direct relationship with customers, even if it is only an online transaction. In this case there is no need to keep track of receipts as we have a record of the sale. However, for a refund to be issued it is necessary to contact us within 30 days.
