We believe products designed to work together create better outcomes for people and pets. The outcomes that actually matter — for your dog, your skin, your home — come from products designed to work together, not products trying to do everything alone. Whether you’re feeding your dog, taking care of your skin, or cleaning up the kitchen, what you’ll find here are products that just work together, so you get better outcomes with less guesswork.

My auto ship was not shipped
My auto ship was not shipped. I’m OUT of dog food now I’ve been on auto ship since 2017. Replacement should have immediately gone out-expedited….now it’s Sat and still NO dog food.
Response from Life's AbundanceJul 1, 2025
We’re so sorry for all the stress and frustration this caused. We know how important it is to count on Autoship to keep your pup’s food arriving right on time, and we completely understand how upsetting it is to be left without it.
Your order did ship out as scheduled on June 23rd, but unfortunately, FedEx ran into unexpected delays and didn’t move the package for several days. As soon as we were alerted, we sent a replacement right away. We agree this should have moved much faster, and we regret that the second box also experienced delays in transit. The good news is your replacement finally arrived. We know this has been far from the smooth experience you deserve, especially as a loyal customer since 2017, and we truly appreciate your patience.
If there’s anything we can do to help going forward or offer additional support, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our Customer Care Team. We’re here for you and committed to giving you the top notch experience you deserve.

We’re so sorry to hear about the delivery mix-up, Linda — we know how stressful it is to be waiting on your dog’s food, and we truly appreciate you letting us know right away. While FedEx marked the order as delivered on Friday, it does look like it may have gone to the wrong address based on the photo they provided.
We're glad our Customer Care Team was able to get a replacement on the way for you. If there’s anything else you need or if questions come up, please don’t hesitate to reach out — we’re always here to help.

Food Aversion
Breeders get a 10% commission for pushing this product. There are plenty of great dog foods for active, large breed puppies who are going to be workers. So, when a breeder says that his guarantee only is good if someone feeds just ONE particular brand of dog food and research indicates that Life's Abundance uses a multi-level marketing scheme by suggesting such a ploy to breeders and giving them a commission, both the breeder and the food company are acting unethically just to increase their revenue to unwitting buyers.
My gundog puppy readily scarfed it down when I got him, but only for about a month. Now, suddenly, he developed an aversion to this food. Hence, I switched my dog to a dog food that almost every gun dog owner I know uses, and he loves it! We have had no side effects and he continues to grow and thrive.
Another friend got a golden retriever, and that breeder also pushed Life’s Abundance with the same guarantee scheme. That puppy developed a similar food aversion and also runny stools (which fortunately my puppy did not).
Independently, both my friend and I contacted Life's Abundance to figure out if we got a bad batch. They claimed we did not. Then, after reading several reviews, I noted that other (not all) owners witnessed a similar aversion to the food after 1-3 months.
Both the Labrador and Golden Retriever are known for being hearty eaters, especially as puppies. As long as they have not been exposed to human food and table scraps, they are well known as food-driven beasts. So, how bad must this food taste for these sporting dog breeds to avoid it, despite all of the Calories that they burn with all our training and field work?
Also, the price is rather exorbitant, and their "recommended" daily portions substantially are larger than what other high-quality dog food companies recommend-- sometimes almost twice what other companies recommend for the same breed type, age, and weight. So, the company tries to get you both ways-- buying a highly exorbitant bag of kibble and recommending large portions. I now am using a different, high-quality product that most gun dog owners use. The bag is less expensive (but still not cheap), and the recommended portions make much more sense. For example, according to Life's Abundance chart, my 4-6 month puppy who now weighs 41 pounds should be getting somewhere between 4 3/4 to 5 3/4 cups of their food per day. Anyone who previously has owned a puppy knows that recommended amount is ridiculous. On the other hand, a competitor's brand recommends that I only give my dog 1 3/4 to 3 1/2 cups per day! (He gets 2 to 2.5 cups/day of the food and is growing, gaining his stamina, and remains energetic.)
I contacted the breeder, and-- despite the fact that my puppy continues to grow and develop quite an athletic physique and remains very active, he would not honor the guarantee. Frankly, I have no idea what a guarantee means-- it's not as if I am going to return the puppy after all of our bonding and how well he is doing with his training on a high-value, well-reviewed kibble that just happens not to be Life's Abundance.
The multi-level marketing scheme is something that I am going to avoid the next time I get a puppy. It's completely unethical-- giving breeders a commission, having breeders sell the product by the lure of a "guarantee", charging twice the amount for a similar weighted bag of food by a well-known and reputable competitor, and then recommending that the dog eat twice the volume of food than the competitor recommends. Everything about this marketing is unethical.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. We’re truly sorry to hear that your puppy fell out of love with the food. We understand how disappointing that can be, especially with active breeds.
Many of our Field Representatives are breeders with years of experience raising healthy litters. Their choice to recommend Life’s Abundance comes after extensive use and positive results. While they do earn a modest commission, we've found that it’s secondary to their priority of supporting the well-being of the animals in their care. Our All Life Stage Dog Food is made with exacting formulation, high-quality ingredients and has undergone thorough feeding trials. That said, no food is the perfect match for every dog’s preferences or sensitivities. We also appreciate your feedback about cost. Because our formulas are nutrient-dense and highly digestible, most dogs need smaller portions, which helps make the cost per feeding more manageable over time, especially when combined with our Autoship discount.
If you’d like help exploring other options, our Customer Care team is always here to assist at 877-387-4564. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to address your concerns.

Canceling autoship immediately.
I got 1 email saying my autoship was being sent out. Two bags were delivered and I was charged for 2 bags which I don't need. I've been buying this dog food for over 14 hrs. and this has never happened before. If I had gotten 2 emails re. autoship, I would have called to cancel one. Called but they said it was on me.

Thank you so much for your feedback, and for being a loyal customer with us since 2011 — we truly value the trust you’ve placed in us over the years. When you reached out, our team took a look and saw that there were two active auto-shipments, which led to the two bags being shipped. We’re glad we could work with you to get things updated so future orders are back to your usual setup. We know surprises like this aren’t ideal — especially after so many years of smooth service — and we really appreciate your patience.
Customer Care will also be reaching out to you directly regarding this. We're always here to help and want to make sure your experience stays as easy and reliable as possible.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We truly apologize for the frustration you encountered. After reviewing your order, we can confirm that only one charge was successfully processed on our end. It appears the initial attempt was stopped due to an incorrect CVV, which may have resulted in a temporary pending charge on your credit card. These pending charges typically fall off within a day or two, and we completely understand how concerning this can be until they do.
We also want to apologize for the disconnected call. It was certainly not our intention to end the conversation abruptly, and we regret any impression that we were dismissive. We genuinely value your business and are here to help. If the pending charge does not clear or if you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our Customer Care Team at 877-387-4564, Monday through Friday, 8am to 7pm Eastern Time.

Placed an order for puppy food which never arrived
This company's online-only model and poor communication left my puppy without food. I ordered on 2/12, expecting delivery within 1-3 days (ETA 2/15), but it's now 2/17 and still no food. My puppy's food ran out, and suddenly switching brands isn't recommended by my vet.
Customer service was unavailable over the weekend. On Monday, I finally learned the Oregon fulfillment center was closed 2/13 and 2/14 due to weather. Inexcusably, I wasn't notified of this delay, despite having an account with contact information. Customer service admitted only "autoship" customers were informed – a ridiculous policy. A simple email would have allowed me to make alternate arrangements.
Now, I'm forced to feed my puppy rice and chicken or switch foods abruptly. There's still no estimated delivery date, and customer service guessed another four days. A paltry $8.85 shipping refund was offered, and a full refund was only suggested if I wanted the package returned to the fulfillment center – an absurd solution.
The company's fulfillment process is clearly flawed, their communication is unacceptable, and their customer service is unhelpful. I strongly recommend choosing a pet food brand with better availability and customer support. Consider Purina Pro Plan or other vet-recommended alternatives available locally.

We’re really sorry for the frustration and stress this caused, especially when it comes to something as important as feeding your puppy. Severe winter weather forced our Oregon warehouse to close on 2/13 and 2/14, which unfortunately delayed your order. While we did notify Autoship customers in advance, we didn’t send immediate updates for one-time orders like yours, and we completely understand why that was frustrating.
You’re absolutely right that better communication could have helped you make alternate plans, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We’re actively working on improving our process so customers in similar situations get timely updates. We appreciate your feedback and the opportunity to learn from it.
