Outside of the G.I. symptoms that can sometimes come with a change in diet, any form of illness is by no means a normal occurrence resulting from regular feeding conditions. We take all reports of adverse, or suspected adverse reactions very seriously. The reason that our products are sold exclusively through Independent Field Representatives is because it gives us a unique measure of control over the quality of our products. On the flip side, products sold through large format retailers are funneled through a complex distribution channel. In this scenario far too many factors like storage temperatures, pest control and length of time in storage are outside of the manufacturer's control. Thank you for your feedback! We realize that when you compare a bag of Life’s Abundance pet food to other foods, it may seem like ours are more expensive to feed. However, in general, that’s not the case at all. That’s because the most accurate way to compare the price of one pet food versus another is the cost to feed a meal. For example, the suggested amount to feed a 30 lb. dog Life’s Abundance All Life Stage kibble is 1 ½ cups whereas a competing food may be 2 ¼ cups. So, if both foods cost 65 cents a cup, the Life’s Abundance would cost 96 cents to feed and the competing food would cost $1.46 to feed. Because our Life’s Abundance dry pet foods are so nutrient dense, the suggested feeding is generally less than many other brands so it ends up costing less to feed than other brands. As for the shipping cost, we can certainly understand your concerns. Please know we are constantly looking for ways to keep shipping reasonable and improve delivery times.
