I think they are scammers.
They were wonderful, supportive and helpful until I told them I had no more money for this project. Now they will not communicate with me. I paid about $2000 upfront.

DO NOT GO NEAR THESE DISGUSTING PEOPLE Giant scam. Wasted my time and they stopped responding to emails after a few weeks. Their pitch is deceptive and dishonest, at first framing it like they're the company that will help level up your book, but then sliding in the fact that you have to pay lots extra for them to care about marketing at all, which is suspicious considering they take a large amount in royalties from book sales. Because I thought there was no way they'd leave lower tier books dead in the water, I let them take my thousands. In an entire year, I sold zero books with these people - not even $20 or a single sale. I have gotten zero monetary value from doing business with them, in fact I have gotten negative value. They were too lazy to even submit a report for $0, so I was confused for a long time as to why I wasn't getting paid whatsoever. Therefore, their website is likely dead with few users. I confirmed this by plugging their URL into a traffic checker. Different checkers gave me 0, 240, 8 as the estimated users going to their bookstore. So their online bookstore is a total front. So their entire revenue stream is likely from swindling people. Their source of revenue is probably your initial signing fee, not book sales. I don't know for sure but that appears to be the case. They didn't care to make things right or salve my author wounds they've inflicted, which is a signal of their guilt. Look at Trustpilot and go past the exaggerated 5-star gloating and get to the real stuff at the 1star reviews. These people went through the exact same humiliation process I have, with zero reports or sales, paltry communication from the Liferich team. If I get a total and full refund, I will delete this review.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re genuinely sorry to hear that your experience didn’t meet expectations. To clarify a few important points: as an assisted self-publishing company, our role is to provide the tools, services, and support authors need to make their books available for sale. However, sales and promotion largely depend on author-driven marketing efforts. While we offer promotional services as optional add-ons, many effective marketing strategies can also be done independently at little to no cost. Regarding sales reports, they are made available in your Online Author Center, and we are always happy to walk authors through how to access them. We do not pay for or control outside reviews, and we never guarantee sales, as success in publishing it is influenced by many factors—genre, platform, promotion, and reader interest, to name a few. We understand your frustration, and while we cannot comment on third-party website traffic estimates, our bookstore is just one of many distribution channels. Books published with us are also made available through major online retailers like Amazon and Barnes & Noble. If you believe there has been an unresolved issue or communication gap, we’d welcome the opportunity to review your account directly.

It was not good at all!!!!

Exasperated beyond belief by my account rep. who was either lazy and totally incompetent or purposely counterproductive. I lost a year and nearly my sanity before having to get others involved, at many stages, to complete the work. Others in the company were super helpful when finally employed. Thanks to those people. I considered canceling my contract and forfeiting the money paid a few times, just to stop the misery.

I'm writing as a Liferich published author. It is now nearly seven full months since my publication date and I know absolutely nothing about sales, except the paltry sales by Liferich. I have never received a check or any information from the companies they link with. Now it's impossible to talk to anyone. I reread documentation and learned that sales reports should be monthly, and checks sent approximately one month after a completed quarter. My first full quarter ended on Sept 30. I have no information of what happened during that time. I know from the Amazon Rating that the book has sold some copies and it is holding forth with at least some sales.

I actually give them zero stars. I have had nothing but difficulties with this company. I have had extremely little contact with any of the supposed counselors. In fact, I have only spoken on the phone to the person who was supposed to be helping me one time and this has been going on now for probably five months. They never never answer their phone calls and seldom emailed me. When I gave them corrections, they didn’t pay any attention to what I said they just did what they wanted to do. After months of pure frustration, finally I was sent a proof. This proof was close to what I needed but still was full of mistakes. I try again to correct their mistakes. They told via an email that I had to pay $100 if I wanted to make more corrections. I told them I’d like to have all my money back. I felt that I had been scammed.

I just received my order of 75 soft cover books. I am so disappointed in the lack of quality paper and print! The print bleeds through to the opposite side of page as does the illustrations. It is very distracting to have the print all over the illustrations! I have seen acceptable variances in different printers they have used, but nothing as unacceptable as this! However, I am told they feel it is acceptable and will do nothing to amend this situation. They have their money! I am ashamed to sell my books as is and have had to cancel all upcoming book events and presentations.

LifeRich does not keep their promises. I found many misspelled words and a missing page in the final printed version. The editing process is poor at best. I asked to talk to supervisors, but my calls were never returned. I paid for a custom cover but had to settle for a stock photo cover. When I give LifeRIch a poor review no one follows up to see how they can improve. It seems like they want to take your money but not publish a quality product. I hope they realize that finial publication is a reflection on them.
