After 4 months still waiting news about…
After 4 months still waiting news about the order. they reply due to COVID ... they have custom problems. Many times I contacted the chat because through the email or the telephone number you don't receive reply. for the replacement filters no agent's contact, no after sales, no reply, no refund, only some people in the chat unable to solve the problem . If you buy their product then you are unable to have the replacement filters.

Do not buy anything from this company.
I wrote a negative review about my experience (order #15249) with this company before. As soon as I wrote it, I got contacted by the company, asking me to remove the review and they will post me the filters I ordered.
Well, they never actually posted the filters in the end, so here is the review.
I made an order in November 2020. The order did not arrive and I was asking to cancel the order and issue a refund in December then in January. I was told the order was shipped when in fact it never was. No one picked up the phone in UK office and no reply was issued to many of my emails. So, I have the machine but no filters in the end. I might as well bin it which I will. I advise people who are ordering from the UK not to order and use this company. Communication is non-existent or poor at best. The only communication I ever received was in a chatbox on the website. Emails ignored, phone calls ignored. With lots of struggle, a refund was issued...
The company does not want negative review even though they treat customers with disrespect. Well, you promised to send the filters and you did not so my review stays.

Bitter sweet feelings
Hurry up and Wait...
And don’t hold your breath.
I have waited 3 months for a product that I had received no information on and now am hoping for a refund on my MXL-13 machine because they do not keep it in stock and it’s stuck in customs. When I get the refund, I could upgrade to an MXL-15, which they do keep in stock. I think these machines are great and I would really like one, but I would actually like to receive one and utilize it.
I ordered the ionizer on Oct. 28th, 2020 and was told to expect the machine in 3-6 weeks.
I emailed, Water Specialist, Casey Schuster and he said he’d get back to me with the shipping information, then never got back to me.
So then, I emailed him again on Dec. 10th, asking if he’d found any information, trying to gently prompt, with no response.
I’ve called customer service four times now... they said the warehouse manager would call me back on Monday, January 11th, 2021, I received no call.
I called back again today and the customer service representative I spoke with said she forwarded the message to the warehouse and they should call back today, Jan. 15th.
On Jan. 18th, I decided this water machine isn’t worth the stress of wondering if I was going to ever receive it/if I’d be able to service it for years to come. So I called customrer service in the morning and asked to speak with whoever will give me a refund. I had purchased the MXL-13.
Customer service said to call back in an hour to speak with the person in charge of the ionizer warehouse for a refund.
I called back, asked to speak to the warehouse and they put me through to Paul Johnson.
Paul is a rockstar and a shining example of someone who really cares about their product and their customers. I explained my frustration and he said that my particular ionizer is being held in customs indefinitely and that I should reach out to my bank and put in a claim toward my credit card to get that money back. He said as soon as he sees that request go through from my bank, he will approve it right away. In the mean-time he sent me an alkaline water pitcher, which I am incredibly grateful for because I really do believe in the wonderful properties of alkaline water.
I put the claim in through my bank right away and they said it could take up to 90 days to be processed, which is a bummer, but is not lifeIonizer’s fault.
I had put my 1 star review up prior to speaking with Paul and I had still received no answers from Casey Schuster.
If Casey had put forth a little effort to send me an email to let me know that it was stuck in customs, why it was stuck in customs, and an honest answer for when the ionizer would really be arriving at my house... I would have been happy. Communication is incredibly important when customers pay large sums of money for a product, but Paul is the only person in this company who seems to understand that and act accordingly.
I also found some fake reviewers commenting on their Facebook account. Why are there fake accounts writing positive reviews? Very peculiar...
I had purchased the MXL-13 and one of the Main reasons I punched this model was because of the lifetime warranty, which very few alkaline water companies offer. I am concerned with not being able to have this serviced appropriately, in the event that is necessary. It is supposed to have a lifetime warranty but from other customers reviews, it doesn’t sound like LifeIonizers always honors that. For example, one reviewer spoke about a leak in their machine, so they shipped their water machine to be fixed, it was shipped back—presumably fixed— but when tested and used, still showed a leak.
In addition to that, I’ve seen a few other reviews saying LifeIonizer takes months to ship filters and they can’t use their machine until they have those filters.
I’m so confused by this company.
I’d really like to change my star rating, but I haven’t receive a machine or my money back yet.
And while I am truly grateful for the alkaline water pitcher Paul sent, it’s not worth $2,000+.
I will be happy to change my star rating when I receive a refund on my money.

Very unreliable
Very unreliable. They said items ships 2 months after you order but they charged you when you order. Not good customer service. Really expensive. It’s been 2 months still no tracking.

Avoid
They have not refunded my return as repeatedly promised despite delivery confirmation of the MXL unit and I have had to go through my bank to dispute the fraudulent charge. Alarming.
Update (November 22 2020):
Must use a third party site like trustpilot to get any kind of meaningful response from AWI after purchasing their product and even then they’ll do nothing but drag their feet and offer incredible excuses. Avoid life ionizer, try Greenfield water or Kangen water or perhaps any other company for honest business and prompt, quality service. If you buy from this company you will overpay, wait months for product to arrive, and may get ripped off in the end or even robbed as in my case.

I do not recommend this company
UPDATE: LifeIonizers subsequently called again promising to ship my filters if I would remove this review. They not only did not ship my filters but they reported my claim as false. Trust pilot removed my review and asked for my supporting documents. I have since provided the invoice and this review was reinstated. I just do not understand how this company remains in operation.
I do not recommend this company. After having this product for at least 6 years the company continues to fail in customer service and in servicing their product. Over the past three years I have ordered replacement filters that take months to arrive. Excuse after excuse is given as to why the filters have not arrived. No more. I cancelled my order that was placed at the end of May and asked for a full refund of a product that I have not received. The order was cancelled by my husband on 8/27/20. Customer Service contacted me within minutes to say they would two day air the filters. Well today is 9/1/20. No filters big surprise. Called once again and told them to cancel order and refund money. I received some song and dance that the filters were sent two day air but it would take 5 days because Texas was next to California. Guess he failed geography. I also asked for the tracking number of which he could not provide. Big mystery there. The shipping manager was gone for the day. BIG FAIL ALL THE WAY AROUND LIFE IONIZER. You just lost a customer.

Good Product - Good luck getting replacement filters
I ordered my replacement filters on May 8 at the tune of $334.79. I heard nothing and called on July 9th and was told I would receive a tracking number the next week. I have called 4 times now, and on today's call was told they still don't have an estimated date of arrival. In fact, Cami said, "I'm not sure, I just answer the phones". Yet, she was the one to whom I was told to speak to get an answer about where my filters were. Today is August 26. It has been three and a half months with them keeping my money, and (by the way) the Life Ionizer is not working since the filters need replaced. Therefore, I have more money tied up doing nothing. There way zero compassion or caring on the phone call. More "sucks for you...this is what you can expect" attitude. I would highly recommend going with Kangen vs. Life Ionizer as I know several people that have them and have zero issues getting replacement filters or parts. The taste and performance are very similar.
