Date of experience: Ongoing for several years. I've been dealing with Lexie since I got my first pair about three years ago. The app was okay - better than the current one - but also extremely problematic. It got so I had to coach their experts to delete my info and reenter it b/c the app was stuck. Then one of them failed and I sent it back for repair for $35 but it failed again after a few weeks. They had a special on the newer "powered by Bose" basic model that require batteries - which I don't mind b/c they last way longer than having to recharge every 18 hours. The app for these had fewer features than the old one and I couldn't connect my aids. After numerous attempts to reach them, I got an unfriendly woman but got disconnected. Attempts to reach them/her by email and phone failed so I complained to the BBB. This got results. I was put in touch with the app developer who was kind but ineffectual but at least it was a connection. I finally figured it out and it worked for months, but now, the app has failed again. It says other aids are in range so it can't connect - they're not - or hmmmm we can't seem to connect..... The app is an utter mediocrity. The aids are okay but without the app they're pretty useless. If only they'd get an app that actually works with an iPhone, I'd give them more stars. Meantime, I'll look around for alternatives. With Lexie, there's always something marring your experience. Troubleshooting is tedious and fragmented and ultimately useless unless you persist time after time after time after...

My husband’s left Lexie B2 stopped working after 9 months. He spent days on the phone trying to get help. Eventually, customer support told him to buy two new wires at $100 plus shipping, which didn’t help. They next advised sending both aids back for an evaluation that we had to pay for if they didn’t discover defect issue. And they would not refund the cost of the wires that did nothing to solve the problem. Of course, we would be charged shipping to the company and they would not get the aids back for several weeks. When he asked if I could simply send the broken one, Gabriel said that wasn’t their policy. When he asked if they would send two news ones to use while Lexie fixed the one that broke, Gabriel repeated the standard policy. Lexie is an unreliable product and the company is inflexible about helping customers with problems with their products. What warranty???

These screech and squeal upon certain sounds and whenever anything gets near them…hands, coat collars, seat-backs, etc. it’s so loud that people around you will hear it. Have tried every option and nothing works…none of the other domes, no settings, nothing. Phone streaming has so much static I had to stop using it. Lexie makes claims of their customer support - I claim BS. I emailed them twice with not even a reply. Tried their instagram account and no reply there either. I regret my purchase.

I bought the B1s for my mother in August, by November one wasn't working at all My mother is bedridden, always cold so no sweat, and bathed by her hospice service who is trained to check for hearing aids so there is no there is very little chance they got wet. I paid for care kit plan I never received. I paid for the protection plan which is a total scam. What does it protect? When I called service and convinced them it wasn't working by doing the trouble shooting I had already done several times, they told me to send them in and the supervisor would send me a quote. They want to make sure they didn't get wet. If you want to try these my advice would be don't get the protection plan, pay all at once if you can, the care and protection plans offer nothing, a scam to get more money. The price initially; $799, after 24 months I will have paid $1424. Almost double! Close to audiologist assisted hearing aids. If mom could walk I would have gone with this.

While the product (B1 by Bose) is decent, the reliability is poor to unacceptable. The wires fail regularly and as mentioned by many people, are not a warranty item and need to be purchased at $50 each failure (I have had 3 failed). Unfortunately this is not the only problem, customer service and shipping are also very poor. I have been waiting for nearly 4 weeks from my purchase date to receive a replacement wire. The part has been shipped twice and because Lexie only uses USPS, they have no idea why the part has not been delivered. They insist that they are only able to ship via USPS and also insist that it's not their problem that the USPS can not complete a delivery to my mailbox in a condo building (normal keyed cluster mailbox). Lexie was unwilling to do anything to expedite shipping on the third attempt. To make matters worse, Bose the manufacturer was my initial experience with the product that also failed. They offered a refund if I returned the original (failed) set and re-purchased from Lexie which I did. It was returned in September 2022 and now at the end of January 2023, Bose says they have no idea why they have not issued my credit only to confirm that its a "really long time". This business partnership between Bose and Lexie seems like a scam. They do not stand behind the product at all, offer "Worst in Class" customer service and are unable to refund money that they agree is not theirs. As I stated earlier, the product when it works is decent and a good value. Unfortunately, the product requires support which is non existent. Have a Great Day! John Butler

Horrible customer service. Bought mine from Bose, who was taken over by Lexie ONE WEEK LATER and sold to me without full disclosure. Now the hearing aids are failing; sound quality has eroded and become tinny, one or the other goes mute intermittently, had to replace both wires, battery in the left one wears out twice as fast as the right even when I replace both at the same time. Lexie says call Bose. Bose says call Lexie. Neither will take responsibility. An utter disgrace.
