LexiapowerupReviews of lexiapowerup.com

this is the most boring and annoying and old way to teach students in 2026-2027 my experience with this app is low but after my friend got the intoduction I KNEW IT WAS SO BORING AND AHH and it yaps so freaking much plus units and minutes piss me off

This is supposed to be a Grammar app but instead, whenever you mess up more than once it gives you a 5 minute lesson that you can't skip. The most annoying part is it's always the same lesson for that unit, it's never saying "Hey, here's a specific lesson for you about what you missed," they just say "Oh you don't know this, that must mean you don't know any of it so let me give you the same lesson you don't understand." If this could've been fixed and various other things, I think it would be less hated by kids.

Do not use this app do NOT give this to your students. Why you might be asking 1. I triple checked my answers on the protest every single one what score did I get you might be asking 5 in word study (you have to spell out gibberish) Grammar…(find the verb in the sentence the sentence[marry has to use the bathroom]) Comprehension 9 passages every one of them having 5 different multiple choice questions you can’t go back and change your answers you just read and answer dumb questions about the text. 2.word study it put me in 5 th grade for having to spell gibberish it constantly made mistakes on my answer me Double checking my answer with google some times to make sure they are correct Lexia says it is wrong (ok so if google is wrong and the English dictionary is wrong then is the word with actual spelled like w.i.t.h or with… 3.grammer it constantly says if you get 1 thing wrong let’s review these things and dose random AF words that are not even apart of the text or sentence mostly everything is timed and makes it very stressful and actually made my panic attacks worse because of the amount of times it said wrong then showed me the answers and did not explain why it was wrong. 3. The worst for last comprehension in this I scored an 11 out of 16. Um WHAT! If you even tryst the text in the pretest you will score probably the same as me you look in the text for everything and alway fine the “correct answer” you will no matter what get 20-10% of the pretest and lesson wrong even if you get some of it correct. 4. In all lexiapowerup is to rushed in all areas the app makes to many mistakes and 90% of the time when it is a 5th-8th you will get things in word study that are 1st grade no joke the things I am on it told me that I need to learn how to spell (this is me with out auto correct the whole time just to know) knowledge, thought, what, with. If that for lexia is why a student should learn in middle school then ok lexia please someone sue this company. In conclusion this app will make you more stressed and may even lead to you failing your classes to the point of you even thinking you are not good enough or may lead to depression please do not use this app that is why I am giving this a 1 star if I could I would give it a 0 stars.

Hello, after using lexia power up before it is not the greatest and very bad. one thing is it has lots of bug issues when using it. when you get a question wrong it puts you into a section where you have to redo a bunch of stuff around 5 times until going back to the lesson. another thing that is bad is it's a requirement for all students and if you don't get a certain number of minutes you won't participate in fun actives even if you have all other school assignments done. (this applied to me as a student, so it is not fully true that all students have that rule) overall it's a bad website in my option and in lots of other options.

This application is so frustrating and annoying. When I get the answer wrong ONCE, it tells me, "ThIs iS ThE AnSwEr"! I get that fluency is a good thing but I'm on like 7th or 8th grade ELA (I'm in 6th) and it doesn't even bother to teach me what a subordinating conjunction or the difference between a simple, compound and complex sentence. Plus, it doesn't care what grade you're in, it EXPECTS you to know this rather than having it look at my grade and teach me.

I’m an eighth grader and have been using this app since I was in the 5th grade. I HATE IT. It talks SO slow like it’s having a stroke or something, and you can’t speed it up or change the voice, and I’m warning you, that voice is HORRIBLE, I’ve been doing for 4 years and it’s only taught me like one thing, if even that. It is a waste of time, and energy. You get one question wrong and it back to the start. Plus, it makes mistakes all the dang time when checking an answer you gave it. It also takes way to long to let you answer too. IF YOU ARE A TEACHER DO NOT DO THIS TO YOUR STUDENTS THEY WILL DESPISE YOU FOREVER, PERIOD. LEXIA, I HATE YOU WITH A PASSION. Okay thx for reading gl if u have to use the app, byeee :)☠️✌🏻🥀💔😭😭😭

Lexia sucks, it barely teaches you anything, it takes a long time to let you enter your response, and sometimes when writing something it misses the beginning letter and tells you that your wrong when it is the one who missed something.

I would put zero stars, but then I wouldn't be able to review this stupid app. I'd say the Lexia you use in elementary is better, because this app will make you do the most irrelevant things for no reason. Like making you repeat the same shuffle of questions if you get too many wrong and sends you to that yellow bar part, you don't learn anything but memorizing the same things. It's stupid in my opinion and I believe the comprehension is the only good Lexia lesson they give you.
