I used to really like Letgo. Having no ads separated them from Facebook marketplace and OfferUp. Now.. well since they merged- just like the others. It sucks because now I have to buy items full price retail. But I’d rather do that than go through all of the ads and multiple repeat listings. Letgo, bad move.

Letgo is okay. Users think they’re selling gold. They’re prices are totally insane. Especially gym equipment. Omg!!!!!

Company needs to create a proper information description form for items being sold. And make it mandatory. Almost every item people post for sale does not include proper description. I don't want to waste my time guessing on the for sale item. EXAMPLES: For sale 55 inch TV. ? For sale. Computer? PLEASE INCLUDE BRAND AND MODEL NUMBER. Myself and others don't want to waste time messaging Seller for this required information that should have been in the description.

There are some legit good deals but people refuse to answer when you are actually interested or they lie through their teeth about the condition. Here are a few selling tips from someone who works for a company that partners with eBay. 1. If someone is asking if it's still available, answer them even if it's unavailable. It's poor form to ignore buyers. 2. You can check accounts and see who is legit and who's not. Make sure they have a solid history. 3. If someone is setting up a time to see what you're selling, respond even if it's been sold. Not only is it rude to ignore people but oftentimes buyers regard sellers who refuse to respond as irresponsible and dishonest. 4. Take plenty of good color pictures with a detailed description. Make sure your keywords are correctly spelled. 5. Be honest. Make sure to accurately describe gouges, scratches, wiring issues etc, "needs minor repairs" could mean wasted time and money for the buyer. Remember, this is the Internet and your reputation as an individual could be considered. Bad news travels quickly. I say this from experience as a buyer and a seller. People are crazy and acting rudely or trying to scam them can put you in a bad situation. Just be careful and act like you want to sell your items.

Ok so I’ve been using letgo for a couple of months. I’ve sold one item so far. A guy drove 5 hours to pick up my furniture. Other than that , i get ppl asking me the same questions. “ is it still available “ ? “ or try negotiating it. Quite strange! Like why waste your time asking if it’s available , submit an offer and disappear once you accept their offer . Communication is pretty weak. Mostly everyone on here is in their own world or ADD. They can’t hold up a conversation and will want your furniture for nothing. Even if you accept their weak offer they stop responding. Real waste of time. But on the positive note : I’m not getting scammers like offer up. I get tons of scammers on offer up.

This site has a bunch of Nigerian people with fake PayPal accounts buying stuff once u mail it to them u r screwed

Use to enjoy Letgo and purchased many items. Now they have business ads that are repeated numerous times which when for instance looking for new rolls of carpet I have to scroll many pages to get past the duplicated carpet cleaners and installers. Two ads are the biggest offenders but Letgo doesn't seem to care. I have contacted them twice with no reply to my concerns. Very frustrating. I am going back to Craigslist.

This app is crap. I've had more scammers on here than anywhere. Transitions between sections are jumpy. I'm trying to edit one of my ads and all it does is go to a blank screen. I've had to reset my location several times. I want to delete my profile but can't find where to do that.
