Salesman became irate and abusive when I balked at signing a contract that I knew was overpriced. He ridiculed me for wanting to consult with my children, asking if I needed them to hold my hand on every purchase. He finally wore me down and I signed just to get him out of the house.

I had Leaf Guard installed on my house in December 2023. I only put the date as 2024 because that was the furthest I could go back. The product is decent yes. However for how much you will spend. I do not think it's worth it. I still had issues with birds getting into the gutters and making nests. Leaf guard is better than your standard gutters but not worth spending 5 or 6k more.

Today DJ Campana came out and was rather pressuring us to make a decision ‘on the spot’ Also he didn’t do his research and due diligence of sending the company proper photos of how our home is set up, for gutter installation. Due to that the gutters were left on our front lawn, and the LeafGuard workers showed up, they couldn’t install them all, as they would have had to walk On the Tile roof which the workers say isn’t allowed by them, due to possible breakage of roof tiles. Gutters are still sitting on our lawn untouched a week later. But we so appreciate Cecil trying to resolve all of this

I had the gutters put in three years ago. The area in front by the sidewalk always looks like a waterfall is coming down right on the sidewalk to the front porch. They said that the roof is so deep there, I need a diverter. Now it is clogged in that corner because I can see small sticks sticking out. Called two weeks ago and received a call that I was on the work order list. Called again today and was told they are coming out tomorrow. 8 pm and no call. Waterfall out front again. So much for the gutters that never get clogged or need repair. Buyer beware!

The gutter design does not effectively collect water from roofs with steep pitch or any roof valleys - even in light rain. Water gushes over the top of my gutters like no gutter at all in all spots near roof valleys. The salesmen will quote effectiveness at 2 inches/hour rainfall, but water flow across gutter segments near valleys can be 10-30 times that. It probably works ok for ranch style houses (single gable) with shallow roofs.

When I purchased the leaf guard gutters, I was told that if I paid the bill off in one year, and during this promotion it would be interest free. They apparently made an arrangement with synchrony bank, and instead of 0% interest, I am paying at a “reduced rate”. Contacting them to have this corrected has been extremely difficult. I could have paid off the bill that day, but chose to finance approximately 75%. Now I’m getting $50 charges in interest per month. Be very careful with these people, because they will make misleading statements.

Be wary of Sales. They are not transparent in all the fees and work, and will "omit" a lot of information. For my personal experience, the Sales rep (Jerritt) made the pitch sound like all of the fascia wood behind the gutters was rotted and would be replaced, however in reality they only replaced a 10-ft section. Additionally they pitched that Leafguard will remove the gutters should you ever need to paint the house, but failed to mention that there will be a (pricey minimum) fee for dispatch. Installers were knowledgeable and did a good job with the install, however left dozens of screws & nails around the house (including the 6-inch nails, kind of hard to miss). Very aggressive sales tactic and said things like "it's time to grow up" and rush you through signing paperwork saying "it's just standard stuff". Poor communication post-sales as well. Overall gutters work but would not have paid x4 the cost of other systems if we'd known fascia wood not be replaced. System was installed 4 weeks ago, we reached out and offered to discuss a service contract as compromise before leaving a review to no avail, interestingly it looks like lots of first-time reviewers are now leaving google reviews (most of them before the install itself), I'd guess that they're offering a discount for positive reviews.

We live in northeast Wisconsin and installed the Leafguard system one year ago. They certainly weren’t cheap! We have large trees around our home and were sold a bill of goods. We just had our system removed and reinstalled by the local branch-the service was great and employees very nice. They have to come off whenever a new roof is installed. However, once the gutters were taken down we looked inside and saw LOTS of leaves!! We had no idea that they were in the gutters. We told the representative about this and he said that they would come out based on the warranty and clean them. Doesn’t that defeat the purpose? We are not happy. Why have an expensive system when they warranty to come out and clean out the gutters with leaves? Do your research before you invest! (If we didn’t have our gutters removed for our new roof, we would have never known!)
