Sad, disorganized and NOT impressed
We were first time attendees to a pedigree cat show but life time cat/animal advocates. We found the event to be disorganized. And the ticket volunteers were NOT friendly. They were nosey, and "elite-ish" which was ironic. We came to the event hoping to adopt a kitten. Based on social media, broadcast interviews, etc. we were hoping rescues would have a larger presence in this space. There were 3 cats to adopt. That was it. The promotional material explicitly says "boutique rescue catstravaganza". It wasn't. We felt mislead and heartbroken as we had hoped there would be dozens of kitties based on the public material on this event. While I realize this wasn't solely an adopt-a-thon it felt very artificial and frankly crass that rescues weren't given more space. Of course the retail tables had 7 times the space as did the rescue. I gave them a nice donation. And sorry, I don't get the hype over the host. I realize he has a large following, but the event felt very low end. I did find many of the professional breeders friendly and kind. I made it clear I was there to adopt and not shop. And only one breeder was rude, so that's why you get 2 stars instead of 1. I certainly hope a decent portion of my $50 ticket helps homeless animals. We won't be back. :-) RESPONSE TO LOVING CATS WORLDWIDE OWNER: My review was an honest, factual review. I have been a Board member of at least 3 animal based organizations, including the SPCA and Canine for Companions. I have a proven track record of animal advocacy, that spans 3 decades. I have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars in Florida on behalf of homeless animals. Happy to share my LinkedIn profile with you to verify. I did talk to that animal rescue, and gave a large donation, as mentioned. I have 3 adult male cats and I am looking for a young female. That is why I did not adopt from them but yes, I have talked via social media to their organizers about other kittens they have. Orlando is one of the largest cities in the State with HUNDREDS of rescues. ALL of them were busy last Saturday? I personally know at least 3 founders of the larger rescues in this area and I asked, NONE of them heard from your team. What about the other hundreds of rescues in central Florida? Please. Don't come for me unless you are ready. Because you are not responding factually. As far as your mother, maybe she was tired or had meet someone unkind before me. I don't know. Again, that was my experience. Sorry, my guest thought the same. You might want to check social media. You have dedicated pages that call you a scammer and are actively trying to get you out of the business. That is frankly terrifying. One group has over 3,000 followers. There are publicly posted multiple law suits that appear to be against you and/or your companies as a fraudulent business owner. They are posted on social media. Honestly, I should reach out to News organizations. You have a terrible reputation on Trust Pilot and on line. I hope you don't come back to Orlando soon. You need a reality check. Lastly, you have a 2.0 rating for a reason. Look at your feedback from past vendors and attendees. I did. Perhaps you need to rethink your strategies. But my review stands. And it is accurate. ADDITIONAL COMMENT: The larger concern is that you claimed to have a cat rescue adopt-a-thon when you didn't. Boutique or not you had 3 cats. That is not a rescue catstravaganza. The review is factual. And I stand by it. Please don't threaten me. Or I will get legal authorities involved. 09/28/26 UPDATED COMMENT to SM. St**en, your attempt to leave an edited response to my review 3 months after the fact is sad. The REALITY is, I had your original reply removed by TrustPilot after you THREATENED me. A police incident report was filed in Orange County, Florida the following week. My review was accurate. I did NOT have to amend my comment about how I thought your attire and overall appearance was not professional, but I did. TrustPilot agreed with me. It did NOT go against their policies and guidelines, even though you attempted to get it removed, you were unsuccessful. You are a bully, and you try an intimidate people that share their honest experience with you. It's all so bizarre. And NOT the message from someone who proclaims to devote their lives to the welfare of cats should be about. There were 3 cats at the event I attended. NONE were adopted, you verified that fact. It was HARDLY a RESCUE CATSTRAVAGANZA. If 10 cats found homes that weekend, that's some amazing math I'd love to see. Let it go, SM. No, I won't be back, and no I don't ever want to see you again. It's a shame more cat lovers aren't aware how you conduct business. I learned the hard way. I hope others can learn from my experience too.
Response from Loving Cats WorldwideSep 24, 2026
I lost all respect for this review when you attacked my appearance which you did adjust, so thank you. The show was a small show at the Elks Club with limited room. It was not over marketing, we simply had just just enough room and there we 10 cats that found new homes in Orlando because of that show. So, even if one cat found a new home, it's a win. I'm not sure what scale we are being held to, but this was a success. Hope to see you again.
