I prepaid for a Private and not a SHARED ride with them to SFO. Dispatcher text me and said the driver has arrived. I was already outside waiting but he must have came from the other street which is one block away. i=It must have taken 7 minutes to finally see his car. He parked all the way to the end of the street and on a red zone (My house is right next to the curbside too, if he has GPS). He never came out of his car to double check the address or inform me where he parked. I walked towards his car, motioned for him to back up, and follow me to where my bags were. I turned around and he was gone! Dispatcher thinks its not a big deal but there is a reason why I prepaid for a PRIVATE ride and be at the airport early. I ended up getting a taxi on my own and paid more. BAD SERVICE! Will stick to the other well established airport shuttles next time.

This is a horrible business that should be investigated by the Better Business Bureau. Complete false advertising, complete BS. Incompetent, liars, the worst. Do no even think of booking with LAX Ride or Jayride.

Disappointing. Booked a car in advance from JFK airport in NY to go out to long island. They took the booking and then couldn't find a driver to take it. They didn't come out and text that little bit of information until about an hour after requested pick up.... Never again!

Frank was a great driver and I have zero complaints about him. I do however have issues with the fact that we were told the ride would be there in 5-15 minutes when it took 40 minutes. Also, we paid more for LAXRIDE than Uber and still got an Uber Driver. I do not trust a company that advertises one thing and delivers another.

This service is basically Uber totally false advertising. Gave me wrong license plate for pickup and then driver did not speak English. I would never use this service again. Completely false advertising

It would be zero stars if possible. I upgraded my car the day of my reservation to accommodate 4 passengers with luggage. They sent an Uber driver with a Kia Optima, what a joke. I demanded the larger car I had purchased and they said none were available and wanted to send me 2 small cars. (Funny that I was able to get an UberXL minutes later, apparently they didn’t want to use this Uber driver? Hmmm) I was the only adult in my group and did not want 2 minors I was responsible for in a car alone for a 75-minute Drive at 1:30 AM. At this point all I want is a refund since they could not provide the car that I purchased, and so far they have refused my request. Jayride was the other company I originally booked through (they used LAXRIDE to fulfill the contract) and they have also denied my refund request. You can’t really contact these companies other than email or text, so if something goes wrong, you’re screwed. Bottom line, don’t trust companies you can’t speak to, I should have known better but the website and email replies seemed legit. These companies are garbage, just use Uber or Lyft!!!

The website took me through all pages to take info and pay. Then sent me two messages to confirm, and a few minutes later the dispatch cancelled the ride because my address is too far for them!! Why don't they check before taking the payment?! The confirmation email gives you a number to call. When you call, it says we don't provide phone service, please text. When you text, they reply that we are just dispatchers, please contact the website for a refund for the ride we cancelled for you !!!

I don't even want to give them 1 star! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY OUT OF Laguardia Airport. We waited 1 1/2 hours for a car and then the driver showed up and wanted us to pay cash for the ride ( even though we paid in full by credit card when we booked the ride ) I called and texted and tried to use their on line chat ... but could not get a timely response. At one point I was told the driver was "with the passenger" ... only to find out it was a lie. The driver did not show up for another 35 minutes. This company should be investigated because it is a total scam.
