Laurel Mountain RetreatReviews of laurelmtnrt.com

Seamless process from booking to arrival to departure. Cabin was clean with plenty of amenities. Awesome location near supermarkets / downtown Weaverville and only a short drive to downtown Asheville and the Biltmore. Loved the closed off little dog area. Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful cabin!! Beautiful scenery! Lots to do in a cute town!

Amazing time with friends and a beautiful view. Cabins were all kept very nice and the grounds themselves were welcoming. Only downfall was the scheduled cleaning of hot tubs during our stay which seemed a little awkward considering we weren't notified and were wanting to use the tubs during our stay. Notice of this would have been great, but overall still a great trip.

This was an amazing Mountain retreat for my family and I!!! I would highly recommend all to embrace this wonderful escape that everyone needs in their lives!!!

Amazing stay! Everything was very clean and inviting. We loved using the fire pit and hot tub every night and waking up with a cup of coffee on the porch swing. Perfect distance from downtown so you still get the tucked away mountain feel and are still super close to downtown. We will be returning!!

The Laurel Mountain Retreat was an amazing experience! The cabins were modern, clean, and private! The location is a perfect blend for those that want to be in the wilderness but not completely isolated. We felt very safe here. Each cabin had a private patio and personal hot tub...BONUS! and a cute wood patio swing and table to enjoy morning breakfast while enjoying the fresh autumn air and changing leaves (just learned we are called “leaf peepers”). Note that I said cabins (plural) because we stayed at the Laurel Mountain Retreat TWICE in one week (yeah that’s how good it is!) we stayed at the evergreen cabin for three nights, and then ended up cancelling/refunding our downtown Asheville hotel to GO BACK to the laurel mountain retreat to stay at the elk path cabin. Kathleen the owner is amazing, answering the phone late at night to help us find the cabin, and being super flexible in offering another stay for us. This whole experience has been magical, and we have nothing but positive things to say about Kathleen and the Laurel Mountain Retreat. We’ll definitely be coming back next year!!

We loved the Brookside cabin. It was clean and cozy and near the meadow where there is a great fire pit! It is close to town, lots of restaurants, coffee shops and near stores within 10 mins. Very quick drive to Asheville. Loved it and will plan to return!

We loved our stay in the Evergreen cabin. Clean and comfortable and has everything you would need. Beautiful setting. Secluded yet close to stores, breweries and restaurants. Check in was a breeze with the provided door code. Hot tub was wonderful. We can’t wait to stay there again.
