We really enjoyed this place. The location is very quiet and secluded, but close to the convenience of stores, restaurants and other necessities. The house provided us with everything we needed for our entire stay (minus the food of course). It is just like staying in your own home. Very pet friendly from inside out, which is very important for us. We met with Martha who takes care of the house, and it was very apparent that she takes her job seriously. She’s very passionate and takes pride of what she does, and that really reflected as soon as you walk in the house. It is very welcoming and clean!!! I will definitely go back here again.

Super cute cabin! Perfect for our weekend trip

Wow! I truly had a beautiful stay at the Elk Path cabin! Very clean, kitchen stocked to make preparing meals a breeze, and beds were cozy. Easy to find, and not far from the interstate for a quick drive to Asheville. Amazingly peaceful and quiet too. Instructions for check in/out were easy and I felt very much at home. This was just what I needed in quick getaway.

My fiance and I visited the Laurel Mountain Retreat for the first time. I always worry about booking something I have never seen before. But let me tell you, this place was absolutely PERFECT. We stayed at the Red Bird cabin and it was more beautiful than I could have imagined! I am always super concerned about cleanliness and safety. This cabin was SPOTLESS. Everything was clean and I felt very safe staying here! The cabin was certainly much bigger than I thought it would be. It had a great TV, internet, washer & dryer, hot tub (which we used twice a day), kitchen stocked with everything you need (or there is a Walmart and Starbucks 5 minutes down the road). I loved being away from the craziness of life. We were within driving distance (15 minutes) to downtown Asheville and various outdoor adventures! The location, the cabin, the owners, everything was absolutely perfect. After a very stressful year, this was exactly what we needed. Thank you so much for a PHENOMENAL stay. We will be back as soon as we can! God bless!

Laurel Mountain retreat was the perfect stay for our getaway to Asheville. Easy location to find and far enough away where you felt out of the city but close enough to Uber in when you want! The cabin had everything we needed for a great stay!
