As a woman, I did not feel safe at Latitude 2025
As a woman, I did not feel safe at Latitude 2025. I am writing this to let all other women and anyone who may be vulnerable know, if you are thinking of booking next year. The camping area was plagued by numerous large groups of young men, who deliberately and persistently shouted day and night, left large piles of rubbish, including a sleeping bag that had been shat in and vomited around the tents. It was impossible to sleep, relax or feel safe. They were aggressive and intimidating when I attempted to ask them politely to be quiet at night. The security guards did not take the situation in hand, despite many people making them aware. Knowing that I had told security about them several times, they then damaged my tent, smearing it with feaces. I left feeling exhausted and distressed.
