Extremely upset and pissed off that this was such a sub par experience. Paid over 800 dollars and it just wasn’t what was advertised. Cancelled this bullshit course and I’m only getting back 180 dollars. I hope this company goes bankrupt. If I can sue yall I will. Believe me.

Terrible
In the 20 years since I signed up to be an instructor for Language Trainers, I've only been offered one contract which I ended up not signing. The person I dealt with (Carolina) was extremely rude and unprofessional. It makes me wonder if they treat their customer the same way they treat they collaborators.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, Mara.
We’re sorry to hear that your experience with us was not positive, and we appreciate you bringing your concerns to our attention.
After reading your review, we reached out to you by telephone to better understand what had happened and to ensure we had the full picture. Thank you for taking the time to speak with us.
Language Trainers works with thousands of instructors worldwide, many of whom have been collaborating with us for many years and regularly share very positive feedback about their experience. Carolina, in particular, is a long-standing and highly regarded member of our team, and she regularly receives very positive feedback from the teachers she works with.
During our conversation, we understood that the main concern was related to the timing of our contact, as we reached out regarding a potential teaching opportunity during the Thanksgiving period. While we understand that this timing may not have been ideal for you, our general experience is that many teachers actively seeking new opportunities actually prefer being contacted outside standard business hours, as they are often teaching during the day and only have time to respond later.
Your application had been successful, and we were reaching out to offer you work, not to inconvenience you. We regret that this outreach was perceived negatively and that it led to frustration.
We take feedback seriously and remain committed to maintaining respectful, professional relationships with both our instructors and our clients. We appreciate you sharing your experience and wish you every success in your future teaching work.

Unprofessional
The company advertised that they needed a French teacher for adult learners, and that the work would take place at the learners' work place. Twice a week, time to be determined between myself and the students. They advised I prepare docs to back up my credentials. Waited a few weeks, was "offered" to teach the five students at around 9 or 10 on Tuesdays, if I could manage that--in May (today is 10 Feb.). I'd already told them I work Monday to Friday mornings / afternoon. They also had the gall to ask if I could pass this on to one of my colleagues or friends if I couldn't do it. No mention of credentials now, nor even how much I was being paid.
Notice that the response below tries to make this about the start date, which is not actually relevant to my complaint. Why are they ignoring the main point? The only time available to teach is TUESDAYS BETWEEN 9 AND 10 AM when I and most other people are working. The company already knew I would be unavailable. Canada has only 5% unemployment. MOST people who are qualified to teach French in Winnipeg are already working full time. Therefore most of the people who applied for this job were wasting their time: instead of suggesting that their clients work out a time for teaching with the prospective teacher (as originally outlined to me), like any competent go-between would do, they simply took the "Tuesdays at 9 or 10" as written in stone.
Good luck finding that highly qualified French teacher who is free in that exact time slot every week!

Sorry Brian that things didn't work out for you to teach our clients this time. As a tailormade training company, we allow our clients the flexibility to change their start date if their business needs require them to do so. Usually our trainers understand this and do their best to accommodate the change in schedule or simply inform us that they are unavailable at the new time. In this case, our clients have moved the start date from February to May and we let you know with the hope that you could still take the course.

Very very bad management.
We engage them for live language classes with live teacher at our residence. After telling us they had 18 teachers and inducing us to sign a contract and give a $500 deposit, they passed us to a "coordinator" who, after a week, told us they didn't have any teachers available at the previously confirmed day/time. We insisted on a refund of the deposit, which they say they will do. But we would not recommend a company like this. They should have had firm confirmation that they had a teacher ready to start before they asked us to sign documents and charged a deposit. Very very poorly handled.

Thanks Stephen for your review. As you know, your complete 100% refund was processed as soon as you requested it (and we confirmed this to you by email several hours ago, way before you wrote your review!). We are very sorry you were so inconvenienced by this, even we are surprised that none of the teachers on our books was able to take your Hebrew course. We have over 30 Hebrew teachers in your area; unfortunately none of them has been able to take up the classes with your wife in such a short space of time (you signed our Agreement and paid your deposit 6 days ago) and, as we told you the day before you paid your course deposit - that it might take us a few more days to be able to get your wife started. Sometimes it does take us a little longer to get courses started in hard-to-get-to places like where you and your wife live, especially when you request that a teacher be of a particular gender. We teach many thousands of satisfied students every year and we are always sad when somebody feels let down. We hope that you will find a speedy solution to your Hebrew learning needs, it’s a beautiful language.
