The work done was great. The time it took to complete the project was horrible.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, and we're glad you're happy with the quality of the finished work. We understand the timeline was frustrating, and we want to give some context on why this project took longer than a typical basement job. Your partially finished basement had to be fully reconstructed after a Category 3 water loss, the most severe classification of water damage. On top of that, the remediation phase required asbestos removal, a trade with very strict compliance and liability requirements. Because the State of Wisconsin regulates asbestos abatement, we were required to wait on permits, notifications, and inspections before work could move forward, and those timelines are outside of our control. As with most insurance claims, the project schedule also depended on the insurer releasing funds at each stage. We did our best to accommodate you throughout the process, including a complimentary upgrade from vinyl tile to waterproof LVP flooring, and our crews moved quickly whenever we were cleared to proceed. We appreciate your business and your patience, and we're always here if you need anything in the future.
