This is the third time in a year that I have had problems at the Labcorp location in Manhattan Beach CA Walgreens. They have no mitigation plan if the computers go down this time. Another time, folks didn’t show up and another time they decided to cancel all appts on one day and not notify anyone. I still go a message my appt was on and show up to it being closed. The techs are telling us there is no ECD for the computers coming up. Maybe have your employees come in earlier to try and troubleshoot if you have absolutely no manual process. Pretty pathetically run company. No mitigation plan to run manual is a disaster.

The front office people are slow and most of the time very rude at many of their locations. The worst part is how long it takes to get your test results back. Much longer than most other labs. I will not be using LabCorp anymore,

I just called the location where I took blood in Arcadia CA regarding my blood test results which took so long from July 30. They told me to call 1800-859-7001 laboratory to find out what happened. I called the laboratory representative. The first representative I spoke to was Alice. She was very kind. Unfortunately, while I was speaking to her the line cut off a bad connection. I called back and spoke to the representative named "CELIA according to her" to make sure the previous phone called everything is good to correct my information. They made an error on their end by entering my birthday wrong that the reason why my doctor never got my blood results. Celia representative seems like she can't hear well, is angry, rude, poor experience with communication. She told me to hold onto the phone twice but still didn't help much then all sudden she just hung up the phone while we were still talking. Horrible representative!! I hope this goes to management to be better in this area. Celia needs to be under supervision. Very rude as a communication representative. Need to hire better communication with phone calls. I just switched my insurance that's the reason why go to Lapcorp for the blood test. What a nightmare experience presentation for Lapcorp. Most likely will consider changing insurance end of the year for a different lab.

Billing. They did not tell me how much the tests would cost. I gave them my insurance card beforehand, but they did not tell me I wasn’t covered. My PCP at Boulder Medical Center had told me they would be covered. I got a bill 2 months later for over $600. Bad business. Bad customer service.

Errors in billing, and I can't get a real person to discuss. Options on annoying phone maze does not give one for resolving issue, and no choice is applicable. I HATE DEALING WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!! I have tried several times and multiple ways to get in touch with them.

I have yet to have a positive experience with LabCorp in the many years I have had to use them in LA, NYC, and KC. I got stuck with a large bill due to a clerical error by my previous employer. I explained my situation and Erica negotiated my bill down. What I did not know was she did not address both bills, only one. She informed me that the bill would reduce each cycle and ultimately go away. When it did not, I reached back out 7 separate times and was unable to get someone on the phone. I have to pay the balance to keep it from collections and I was already in a terrible position after tightly budgeting after my discussion with Erica. I will never be using LabCorp again and will change my practitioner based on what lab they use. I will dissuade anyone from using LabCorp and will look into further recourse as this felt like bait and switch. Bait and switch with your credit and your life is unethical, particularly in a time period when so many people are hurting financially.

It always seems like it's going to be OK with Labcorp. You can check in easily and the staff are nice. But they lose samples and don't ever do anything about it, like acknowledge it. Lipid tests are more than a week in coming, and Labcorp when asked says "the lab experienced a natural disaster." Right... They didn’t follow protocols for tests they didn’t lose, so the doctor can't use the results and asked me to have the tests redone somewhere else.

My 89 year old mother was given an order by her doctor to get blood work at Labcorp. On August 4 we took the order to Labcorp and they drew blood. My mothers doctor called a few days later and said Labcorp did not draw "enough" blood. The doctor sent a new order. On August 14 we take her back to Labcorp and ask them the question do they know why the doctor said that they did not draw enough blood. The Phlebotimist Vivian at the Fairfield Ohio(Cincinnati Ohio) area compared the previous order to the new order and both orders had the exact same information (they needed to draw 85 ml of blood), we asked the question if the previous draw was 85 ml why was the doctor requesting another 85ml. Vivian said maybe the lab spilled some of the blood. We asked if they spilled blood wouldn't they inform someone she said no. She bacame agitated after drawing the blood, she sticks the vial of blood inches away from my face and not saying a word, I asked her why was she putting her hand in my face, she said I'm showing you that we got the blood, not showing any indication that the vial contained 85 ml. The issue we had was from a patients rights perspective we had a right to question why "enough" blood was not sent the last time. We have asked the doctors office the same question and are awaiting a response. The customer service is bad the Phlebotimists are extremly unprofessional to the point it should be an embarassement for Labcorp. We filed a complaint online and are waiting to speak with management or whomever. I worked as a professional for my entire career and know that if a person has expertise in whatever field they are in they will either be able to provide the customer with factual, clear, concise information or provide the customer with guidance on how to obtain the information without becoming agitated and aggressive. Hopefully we will not have to use Labcorps services in the future. Terrible customer service. Extremely unprofessional staff.
