Our dog had a typical fluffy pet bed, which he loved. We didn't have an issue with him destroying beds, but I had more of an issue of trying to keep it clean. Once we brought the Kuranda in, it only took coaxing him once to climb up on it. He loves it! It's like his safe spot from the cat, where he goes immediately to receive treats, and it's his favorite napping spot. Not to mention, it is so easy to clean!
