I live on a busy road. My wife is a storyteller. I record her tellings. Before the COVID-19 lockdown we would travel to venues for her tellings and the halls were quite well insulated from external noise. The first few weeks of the lockdown there was no road noise so we could record video and audio in the house. It was like a dream. However not so now. There are the honkers and the heavy trucks and the sirens amongst other car and two wheeler noises. As you can imagine, recording under these conditions is a nightmare. One has to do a lot of post-processing. My daughter suggested that I use Krisp. I was hesitant as I had seen what my audio recording application could do. However, I did try it and was in shock! All the noises were gone! It was like Krisp took the road and threw it away! I had spent a lot of time reading and watching stuff on how to reduce sound. I even considered converting one of the small rooms into a recording room but that would be extremely expensive to say the least. Now using Krisp, my workflow is so simple. 1. Record 2. Proof it 3. Krisp is a great help! I am working for a client in CA and I am from the Philippines and there are background noise that I cannot control like rosters, dogs, and family members. With Krisp, my client noticed reduction on those background noise and made my work a lot better. I used it personally at first and later created a team account for my team members who needs it. I am a student and Krisp has a discount for students (6 months Free Pro Plan), and in order to get the discount they need to send an email to the school's email address. The problem was that you couldn't send messages to my school's email address. I contacted Krisp telling them that. After one working day they replied telling me they added the discount to my personal email. Great service! Thank you very much!
